Got this item because my old one that i got from best buy wont close anymore. So i try a different one. This one works great even if your car is lowered, it still holding in place. Recemmend this item 100%.

The Best Buy Salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable of the phone holders that they offered. This item was highly recommended and I agree it is well designed and made, also well worth the money.

I got this thinking it would work wonderful for the price it was. I was sadly disappointed and only used it for a short time. It didn’t want to stay still no matter how tight I tightened it.

I tired of my suction cup type losing suction and falling off. This magnetic vent-mounted holder simply works! Especially great to have cool vent air on a sunny day while using Waze on a road trip.

Well first 39.99 at best buy, ouch thats sooo steeeep. Yeah it's got magnetic stickers for easy use and easy install. I like mine and would likely replace it with same one if i were ever to lose it

The magnet is really strong, great design and it holds the phone nice. But the claws or the little fingers that grips the vent are really weak and break easily.

Worked great for a few weeks. When I was turning one day it fell off the air vent. Now it falls out frequently when the phone is mounted. Unfortunately when it comes lose it slides across the steering column and lands by my feet. If I'm turning left it lands on the passenger floorboard and out of reach. The clips that hold it to the air vent appeared to have been stretched by the weight from my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6). I'm going to try double sided tape to see if I can get it to stay put.

Solid connection on my dashboard so there is no excessive movement. I holds my phone up where I can easily see it, but not interfere with my view of the road.

I wasn't really impressed with this you have to put the magnet between your phone case on your phone or sticky it to your phone which I didn't want to do. It actually broke my Air vent on my car !

Good design. Unfortunately because there is very little flex in the attachment arms, they both broke off the first time I inserted the holder, and tried to adjust it. The 3 stars are for the design.

The unit attaches quickly and easily to the vent. However, when I put my Samsung S4 phone near the holder, the wallpaper on my screen went black and only some apps were shown. They needed to test this device on phones, especially popular ones like the S4 before releasing it. They need to redesign the devise or put large warnings on it. I had to take it back and get a mount that grips the phone.

Practical and affordable phone mount for my car. Adjustable and easily attached. Another nice feature is that it's not permanently attached so it can be moved to another vehicle .

It works pretty well, but I didn't realize I would have to put the magnet onto my phone case, and I really do not like that. I also learned after purchasing there are more affordable options.

So this unit does sit well, but it can slip if you hit any bumps. The ball socket does not like the weight of the bigger phones. That also makes it tear up the vent slates where you hang it.

Product development has a way to go for this kind of product. That being said this item actually works well for people who don't have a new vehicle with Bluetooth hooked into radio controls.

Magnet seems like it could be a bit stronger and the pull-out 'platform' is stupid. Doesn't fit well on the dash of a modern car but works exceptionally well in my pickup truck.

Was hoping this would be different from the other phone mounts I've purchased but after just a few weeks, it's very loose and wobbly. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The magnet to this may have caused a magnetic interference with my phone so I'm suspicious but not really sure yet on that account I would not recommend this product

This is by far the best cell phone holder for a vehicle that I've purchased. It is so easy to place and remove your cell phone from it. I highly recommend it.
