I purchased this mount to replace a cigarette lighter mount I had been using for over a year. The old mount habitually fell out of the lighter, repositioned itself on bumpy roads, was a pain to insert and remove my phone from, and was falling apart. This mount is solid, is positioned higher, so less travel of my eyes to the screen is required, and is rock solid. I highly recommend this product, or other magnetic-backed products for superior performance and ease of use.

Managed to break this cheap plastic thing without any undue effort. It may have even been cracked before I got it out of the box. I returned and got a simpler magnetic holder, and am happy with that.

I purchased this as a gift. When mounting the clips broke off in the vent. I returned thinking it was a lemon, got a second one and the same thing happened. I returned and gave a gift card instead

Returned this item because when I attempted to clip it on the vent, the clip snapped in two. Bad location in my vehicle as well. Opted for a cup holder model over this and a suction cup device.

I went into the store and asked one of the sales reps which would be a good phone mount and he pointed this one. Only had this mount for two days. Broke and damage one side of my ac vents.!

I bought one, took it to my car in the parking lot, only to discover the clips were already broken. (It had evidently been returned) returned it, same problem, clips immediately broke

The unit does not lock in place and the phone slides off. Would not recommend to purchase. Waste of $30. For this piece of plastic that could snap and break at various points.

I have a Toyota Prius and it doesn’t fit in the vents so I gave it to may daughter she didn’t like it because it blocks up the vent way too much.

need something much sturdier and flexible to fit the many vent designs that are required. Save money and invest in a more capable holder

Does not work in 2014 Dodge Durrango. Plastic breaks instantly after puttin in vent.. bought another one thinking maybe it was me, but no ,it broke as well

I bought this thinking it would be great to have in my car. The very first time I tried to clip it to my vent, on of the clips broke off. Useless.

Not strong at all and the device that attached to the vent broke after one week of use. Returned it to the store and purchased another item.

Had to return because the clips did not lock in my vent. When I took phone off the whole thing came off. returned for a model with locking clips

I was majorly disappointed in this product I had to glue a magnet onto my phone for it to work. I wish it had a different holding mechanism.

Because the magnetic plate needs to be in my phone case, I wound up withs crashes all over the back of my phone.

I invested in this purchase for quality to discover that this product was very delicate and flimsy for its purpose. Disappointed

The phone bracket doesn't stay in the vents for very long. It keeps falling out. I want my money back.

Doesn’t stay clipped to vent at all. Spend the money and get a mount that is worth it. Skip this one

I brought 5 of these on the same day because they keep breaking never got a call back form anyone at Best Buy

I had to take it back to best buy, because it sits in from over the vent it would over heat my phone.
