Like I said works as advertised. I have a galaxy s5 with a Speck case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my phone. Took a little work to fit the prongs into the ac space, but easily managed. Now a nappy camper.

It's an excellent concept. The brackets fit into my vent really well and it's very sturdy. The magnet works perfectly and keeps my phone attached. However, when I attach my OnePlus One to the mount, it just flops forward. Every time. No matter how I adjust it. It doesn't do me much good when the phone is angled toward the floor. But, I would recommend it for someone with a smaller phone.

I like this one considerably more than the one's that sit directly on the vent with no space or ability to change the angle on your phone. It hold pretty tight. I have had it come off about 3 times in a few months. But it's very infrequent. A good buy.

I am always hesitant to buy anything "universal" for obvious reasons, and also because it sometimes ends up being a middling solution for most instead of a perfect solution for what you need. In this instance (iPhone 6S), it has been perfect. It fits great and I can access everything I need. Do note that a magnet is required on the phone back or (as I did) inside the case, which will add a bit of weight and may add a very slight bulge to the case. It is worth the trade-off in my opinion.

I had such high hopes for this vent mount. It worked great for the first week or two, my phone attached great, never fell off while I was driving. After roughly two weeks though, the vent clips do not stay attached as well, and if I have to make a sharper turn the mount and my phone go flying across the car. Luckily I have an impact resistant case, because my phone slammed into the passenger door the first time it happened. I'll be finding a different product. I spent too much on the phone to risk it getting broken by a junky vent mount.

So I finally got online and found this. Thank you Best Buy! It fits my 2015 Nissan Altima air vents like a glove! Yeah I know it's pretty much universal, but it can't go wrong as long as your vents aren't old and dried up. I would not recommend for anyone with cracks in their dash as the unit plus your phone will put pressure on the air vents. Anywho, it has a little kickstand that rests on the dashboard or stereo as in my case. In the box, comes with two small, thin peices of metal that you stick either on your phone or your phone case. (They give 3m tape, I placed it underneath my otter box case, on the hard shell under the rubber case) And the magnet on the dock is strong and your phone is secure on your dash, while you drive safely with your GPS app...lol great buy here! This is a "must have" for any ride share/taxi drivers or anyone who commutes on the daily.

This is seriously one of the better buys I've made recently... Bestbuy was great on the price matching off another site, but this works amazing... Recommend if u have a phone with a case (the idea of putting double sided tape on a new expensive phone is dumb) but the metal magnetic piece hides well under my iPhone 6 case and is more than strong enough to hold the phone well... I will say when it is in portrait mode, the bottom part of this unit blocks the headphone port... But turning to landscape fixes that right away... Would totally buy again ...

I have an iPhone 5s and a Honda Pilot so this should work. Bought this to replace my dashboard phone holder that doesn't stick anymore. I was excited about this one until I installed it and tried it out. The magnet is strong enough to hold but the whole thing constantly falls off my air vent. Tried to be optimistic, and reposition it, but nope, the entire holder falls off my vent on bumpy roads and curvy roads. Just can't have that - especially for $40!!! It's going back. Gonna go buy the AIRFRAME that my sister has and has never fallen off.

I was very nervous buying this mount since it uses a magnet to hold an electronic device, but with no issues I absolutely love this thing! It holds the phone very securely in my 2015 VW Golf having used one of the provided metal holder things on the back of my iPhone6 case. ***Don't stick the metal holder thing to the back of the phone*** You'll never get it off! I learned that with my iPhone 5 :-)

Very solid magnet holds my S5 with a case easily. No need to adjust to specific size of phone. Just stick it on!

just bear in mind that your case needs to accommodate the (very thin) metal plate so it's magnetic hold can operate

This product fails to meet the minimum standards to function as described. First, the good: My iPhone6 attached very securely to the magnetic mount on the bracket with the supplied little metal plates, the plate worked fine just slipped between the phone and it's case with no double-sided tape necessary. Phone can work horizontal or vertical and has some tilt adjustment available. The bad: I was installing this in a 2016 Toyota Sienna that had a vent just about where I would like to see the phone. The weight of the mount plus the phone promptly tilted the vent down to a bad angle. After some adjustments, I was able to prop the little tilting lever on the bracket to rest right on the vent handle and it held precariously in an OK position. The ugly: The critical attachment forks (look at the photo) that connect the bracket to the vent are cheap flimsy plastic that almost look like they have some kind of spring grip - they don't! The second time I tried to delicately push this thing into the vent, one of the fork arms broke off! Most people would likely be trying to attach and detach this mount multiple times, that's not going to happen! Thankfully, Best Buy accepted my return and I can continue my search for a more durable product.

My wife has this mount in her Ford Edge and she loves it. So much that she bought one for her sister and they both hate stuff like this normally. She uses it with her I-Phone and a heavy case. It installed easily into the drivers side air vent and it is small enough that it doesn't block air flow either.

I purchased this holder because of the brand name,.and design. I am sure with the large magnet this is a great product. Unfortunately both the plastic tops of the clips broke off when installing in the vent. What good is the warranty if I am going to get the same cheap plastic clips.

This thing is AWESOME! I drive a lot for my job & needed this for using the navigation on my IPhone 6s Plus, which is in a large phone case. It's very solid & holds the phone extremely well. Worth every penny!

I've tried to use this in my 350z and my jeep wrangler. It didn't stay in place and the weight of the phone would pull it off when I hit any bump in the road. But the vents in both of my vehicle are different so if you have vents that this could grip more to it should work fine.

I love it! Very easy to install and love how easy it is to just put your phone on it without having to squeeze it and then un-squeeze it to release it.

I loved the concept of this cell phone holder, and its placement in my Rav4 was perfect for viewing the screen. Adding the magnets under the case was simple and the magnets held the phone securely to the plate of the bracket. However, the holder and my phone went flying with "normal" turns and ended up on the floor multiple times when driving over bumpy roads. I returned it to my Best Buy store.

I usually don't take the time to review products. I felt compelled in this case. I bought this product because I wanted a magnetic phone mount to use while in service for Uber/Lyft. I prefer vent mounts because the phone is right at my fingertips. The vents in my car run horizontal. Even with the little kickstand support to keep the phone mount and phone from tilting down and pulling out of the vent, my phone mount constantly falls out of the vent. I can't believe how easily the clips slide out of the vent. The clips consist of two parts. One part is pure plastic and the other is rubber (but not the kind that grips plastic). Many times when I make a turn or drive over bumpy roads or rough terrain I find my phone mount falling to the floorboard in my car. This is the worst vent-based phone mount in my experience. So I vent.

It is a very convenient product that is easy to use.
