This Grip It helps you maintain direction straight ahead instead of looking down for direction. You are able to glance while looking at directions.

I was skeptical that this would actually work. I mounted it on the vent to the left of the steering wheel so it was convenient for me but did not clutter the dash. I'm very happy with it.

It's easy to install on my vent. It keeps the phone at a perfect spot to see and use. The only downside is it blocks the air. But for the price, I'm happy with the purchase overall.

This phone mount worked really well, it was pretty bulky though and rattled when no phone was in it. We ended up getting a smaller, sleeker one online. Otherwise, this was a good find.

Can charge phone and firs nicely into a/c vent. Also does not rattle And easy to take out of the a/c unit. I would recommend it to use

Love it when using GPS my phone would over heat. Now since its on the vent the AC cold it down and it's not in the way of anything.

I bought this for my mom so that she doesn't have to look down while driving. It's made to hold everything so it's a bit bulky and flimsy, but it does hold her iPhone 5 well!

Now I can be hands free and my phone is right where I need it. It's great for me because I use GPS on my phone almost every day!

I needed something to hold my phone while driving as I use my phone as a GPS. This was great because it didn't need a glass surface to attach to and it would also be getting a shot of cold air from the air conditioning vent which helps because sometimes my phone shuts off due to being so hot. Been several weeks now and still works like a champ. Could be built better but for the price it's worth it.

This could work for vertical vents if a small plastic stop clip were added. I used a small alligator clip to stabilize it. The design does allow the unit to keep the cell phone from blocking the air from the vent.

This one really saved me a lots of bucks over GPS as the new cars are coming up with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay... If we are going to change our car in next 1 or 2 years, spending around $200 for a GPS or around $600 for inbuilt GPS is a waste of money... It fits into car AC vent and holds my S6 edge perfectly... Only issue its of cheap plastic and hence needs to be handled with care.......

Tricky to install unless you have 3 hands. The adjustable angle sounds good until the 3rd time in a row it moves on you. Also unit is noisy when driving on anything less than glass smooth roads. That being said it adjusts to all of our phones and excellent padding.

Provides a stable mount for any smart phone. Allows for good visability of phone while driving. A little cumbersome to snap into the vent but holds well once secured.

This was for my son's car, and it attaches easily enough with a little bit of fiddling. Now it's pretty secure and works great.

This product does not fit every car vent. I was disappointed in that. Also it was difficult to work with. I would recommend getting a better one that is for the dashboard, windshield, ......or the magnetic one.

Overall the phone holder works as I need it. It can hold a iPhone 5 or 6 without issue, The button to expand is hard to find at first, and not the greatest design.

This holds the phone securely in place. Easy to mount to vent. Good price point. Well made.

this item probably works well on some cars. Did not work well on mine. It blocked the air vent and would not stay upright. It can be swiveled, but was too loose one way and too tight another. Ended up throwing it in the back seat just to get it out of the way.

It's very easy to get my phone in and out of . It holds it nice and tight.

This is my third Grip-it car vent mount. It does the job and fits most vents (but not all). Widely adjustable to fit a hold every phone I've owned securely.
