I have always liked the idea of a car mount and have tried mounting them repeatedly, the catch, I don't want them on my windshield obstructing my view. This is by far the best option I have come across. Bonus, it keeps my phone cool in the summer while it is charging. We even bought a second one for my wife. Who has refused to have a hands free system in the past.

Slides and flops around on vent . Easy to install, but blocks ac/heat from vent that it hooks to.

Useful phone mount because it's not too large and you can put it on any of the vents. Only problem is that it shakes around when driving causing the screw-tightening functions to loosen themselves up - so you have to keep tightening them. Better anchoring system would help. Otherwise, useful product.

It is the best vent-mount I have ever used and I have had several.

It works fairly well. Over time the holding nut gets loose and I have to readjust it roughly weekly.

Nice things about this are that there are 2 adjustable "legs" on the bottom to allow one to hold the phone while the other is pulled back to allow for the charger cord. Also, I especially like that keeping my phone in front of the vent helps keep it from overheating when running GPS or streaming audio.

Exactly what I needed to hold my phone so I can use it as my GPS.

This is very useful for both phone and or GPS easy to install.

It's sort of odd to reach the button for me... you have to put your finger around the back of the phone and then the phone kinda pops off. But it was cheap, and it works. Period.

When I first bought it it wasn't easy to install, but I figured it out. Worked well for about two months and then I found the clips weren't holding it securely and after having to use the button to unattach the phone many times, the button wasn't as tight and no longer worked well. I had to replace it after 2 months.

So right off the bat, the reason this has a missing star, is one of the side grips on my product doesn't want to stay up. The side grips are extendable to grip your phone higher if you have a taller device. The right side of my unit doesn't remain extended. That being said, this is a non issue for my device, which is an iPhone 7+. It holds the phone just fine, setup was simple, the ball and joint swivel mechanism, while it feels cheap, works well. I will warn buyers, in the winter time, using GPS, having a phone conversation, and running the air on vent, will overheat your phone. My solution was simply run my heat on defrost and floor, but if your picky and like your vent air, refrain from heavy use on your phone until your vehicle is warm. Long story short, this worked for me, still works, it's all in one piece and I would buy again if something happened to it today!
