I am VERY pleased with the performance of my Bracketron. It solved the problem I had of having to put my phone down in the cup holder and out of eye level. It is quick and sure to insert and remove and best of all, HOLDS IT IN PLACE without problems. Definitely worth having, and the price was reasonable.

While my initial reaction was that the item felt flimsy, once installed, I felt that it will be just fine. For the price, it does that job. The only annoying thing is that you have to be careful not to place the grips on the side buttons of the iPhone, as it will shut it off. Not a big problem, just something we seem to forget from time to time.

The install was super easy and holds firmly in place. My first one worked so well I bought a second for my other car. Note, I installed the second one from the passenger side and it made the install even easier.

Used it in the right side air vent of my Honda CRV at first try but the steering wheel was blocking the few. Was able to unclip it and move to the left side vent and then, when I decided that was the best spot, I moved it one more time, one blade up to allow the 'stabling arm' to reach on the vent frame and angled it to the perfect spot.

I bought this because I was desperate for a last minute trip with a new cell phone. The mount is flimsy and hard to install. Every time I take it off I am afraid I will break either the mount or air vent. The foam padding began peeling off a couple of days after I got it. On the plus side, the grips are deep enough that I have mounted a wireless charger to it and now charge my phone without plugging it in. With a Galaxy S5 and it's stupid liitle door over the USB socket, this is a big deal.

Not impressed with this mount at all. Fits my LG Flex... Ok at the best. Awkward to put in the cradle most of the time, day and especially night. Mount takes up so much space away from dash, I couldn't put it in the vent I initially wanted. And no matter which of three different vents I tried it in, one of the spring hooks keeps coming loose. And within three days, one of the foam pads fell out.

Installing was easy, but the clip falls sometimes if the road is bumpy. Later I tightened it more and its good for now. Vertical position is really good, but in horizontal the unit slips in bumps from the holder. So, if you are going to use the mobile only in vertical position - this is a good choice.

Plastic gears inside have broke twice from daily use. Only thing dislike. Easy to use for hands free driving.

I tried to install the way the manufacture implies but would not work in my situation. I had a few "Blank" covers in my dash so I removed the one closest to the power supply and modified the bracket and bolted it to the blank. This worked so well I purchased another for my work phone too. Love it!

The documentation isn't very clear, but once you figure out how to attach the dock to your vent, the device works great. It is slightly larger than other more expensive options, but it is a good value for what you get out of it.

The hardest part was attaching it to the vent. That said, it wasn't hard at all. It is an inexpensive solution to needing directions in a new place and using my phone to do it. Works great and I'd definitely buy again.

Installs on a/c vent. If support is not long enough, kind of difficult to hold the weight of phone. When squeezing the pads together, make sure side buttons on phone are not pressed and holding. Have to learn to adjust. It does hold phone well. However have to seperate supports and squeeze together to get it to grip securely. There are better out there, but the price was a little high for them.

I'm generally happy with this item. Installation was a bit of a challenge as it didn't seem to fit the vent depth of my 2014 Prius plug in. But after some machismo was applied to pulling back the spring loaded mount, I was finally able to get it to mount in one spot above the Prius display screen. Not optimal, but it works. There should be a "Maybe" for "I would recommend this to a friend..."

While on the road, I discovered I had forgotten the bracket that came with my GPS, so I bought this to hold it. It did the job reasonably well, but there is no doubt it is a better holder for my cell phone. All in all, not a bad product for the money.

Easy to install and pretty reliable sometimes the support can give out on the joist ball but overall pretty reliable and the swivel feature is useful.

Do make sure it'll fit your vent before purchase. Turns out this didn't fit mine, as my vent panels were lengthier and it was impossible to fix the mount on my vent without sacrificing mobility of the mount itself. As for the function of the grip, it works great with my iPhone, but held in landscape mode, you would feel it a tad loose to carry the weight of your GPS firmly on the vent.

I gave this a four star rating assuming it would work very well on any car with vents in center of dashboard. My car does not and I find that to be a problem, I will be looking for an alternative solution. I will recommend it based on my statements.

I've had this for over a month and I drive extensively. For the price you can't beat its simple function. Holds well. Sometimes the bottom bracket slips on a bad road bump but the side and bottom clamps are secure enough to hold it in place.
