Iwas not able. To mount the device onto the vent clip

Bought for husband. Didnt last long it broke to easily

It is wonderful to have a stand that easily adapts to the size of my phone. The adhesive surface does not stand up to hot weather, but, so far, the holder has remained affixed to my dash. I bought some velcro strips to reattach it should the need arise again.

A little sunshine and 80 degree temps and the inside of my vehicle got a little hot. The adhesive didn’t stay and it fell off the dash.

Doesn't work well at all. Phone keeps drifting down where you can't see the maps. Glue tabs that holds the 2 pieces together doesn't stick and the phone and holder falls to the floor.

i was very disappointed when i tried to set this up in my car. it would not hold my phone it kept fall off from the bracket. bracket would not stay in place.

I tried this item in my car for 2 weeks and kept falling off my dash not a good product at all. In fact I’m returning this item this week back to Best Buy

Since it’s winter time and I have the heat running I clamp the holder to the vent. Well the adhesive didn’t hold because of the heat coming from the vent.

It's heavy. You can adjust the angle but it's just so heavy it drags the vent to the lowest angle. The grip is also so weak that your phone will flip from side to side as you turn corners

Took it back, as it did not stick to the vehicle. Vehicle was was and area was cleaned before trying to stick it to the dash.

It’s a great looking mount, however it’s not strong enough for heavy phones with a case. I have a iPhone XS Max and it always slumped over. Had to return it.

I purchased this universal phone holder because it seems just a bit safer to peek at something on the dashboard than it is to look at something down in the cup holder. It absolutely did NOT work on my dash. Maybe because it’s not smooth, but I don’t know. Then I tried sticking on the vent adapter, but the 3M pads had zero stick, so I superglued that baby on. Stuck it in both a vertical AND horizontal vent and it fell out both times. So now it’s sitting in my door pocket.

I purchased this holder to try to keep the phone out of my hand but still near my line of sight, but was skeptical of the simple mechanism. After two months of use daily with dozens of ins and outs I see no signs of the mechanism wearing out, and it holds my iPhone X and XS Max perfectly. It also matches the interior of my vehicle (late model Honda Ridgeline) perfectly, and looks like a factory-matched accessory.

I didn’t like this phone holder for my iPhone 8 Plus. It probably would have worked - it has a nice design - but I prefer a clamp mount with a bean bag type base

I wanted to like this device, but I had to replace it already with a similar one because this one snapped. Cheap plastic.

Tried mounting it multiple different ways, would not hold no matter what, ended up dropping my phone on my knee several times.

I own a note 9 and this is just not sturdy enough to support the size and weight of the phone. Would work well with a smaller phone.

Waste of money--it broke before I could even install it.

Looks good but it will fall apart dropping your cell phone while driving.

I really like this unit, but after the adhesive wears off, its no good.
