For best use, you may need to stick the metal plate on the outside of the case, depending on the thickness of the case. As for the vent, you may need to stabilize your device in order for the vent mount to securely hold. With larger phones, we recommend resting the device on part of your dash. The finger loop stick on does not stick magnetically as well as just the flat plate. Also this plate on my case prevents me from wirelessly changing without removing my ohone from the case now.

Magnet is not strong enough to hold the smallest of phones and the vent mount option does not stay in place. Your phone will fly all over the inside of your car. Better options available. Ring does not supply enough surface area to secure phone to magnetic mount.

As soon as it got hot, the adhesive gave out and it all fell. I tried new adhesive with no success. I think the surface area of the adhesive tape is too small.
