It's very easy to mount onto the vent. Has good grip to accommodate our phones. For the price, the car holder is a steal!

This gadget does work good. It holds my phone firm it swivels all around if I choose too move it. What I do not like is that the little yellow release button on the back does not stay open and I have to pull it out first to then put my phone in place so it can grab and hold the phone. Otherwise the side arms will not crank to close it on the phone, hard to explain. I do still like it, I can also use it in different vehicles with different vents. I am fine with my purchase.

I own a Motorola X Pure and it seems to hold it in place for the most part. The whole bracket and phone fell to the floor after going over a speed bump a couple of times so I pushed the bracket in deeper into the vent. It's not like I didn't already push it in deep enough to begin with. It hasn't fallen since so it may have been pushed in a bit more deeper maybe by one more millimeter. Also because the volume tongles are on the middle right side of my phone it does adjust your volume sometimes when you're squeezing the brackets tighter to hold the phone in place.

Have wanted an easy solution to make my phone visible while driving. This mounts easy on one of your vents and hold it very secure. The release mechanism is smooth and the unit feels secure. Time will tell whether it holds up

I switched to a wireless charging iphone 8 plus and no longer could use all my mophie charge force products. I had a mophie magnetic wireless vent charger in my car for it and I LOVED it.. however, I now needed a replacement. I tried a few things but nothing really worked or compared. This is the closest thing I could find. It has a few quirks but I am getting used to it and overall this is a great product and im glad I have it as an option. I will continue to use this.

Device fits perfectly in my car vent. It lasts very long and it looks nice on the vent instead of your dashboard.

Sturdy, easy to use, dependable. Only complaint is that bottom bracket is in the same spot that auxillary cord input on iPhone 6s Plus which makes it difficult to plug in once the phone is on the holder.

I had been considering several styles of mobile phone holders for our automobiles. When I saw this one in my friend’s car and heard her positive comments about it, I knew that was the kind we needed.

I had tried so many different cell phone car holders (suction holder, magnetic, etc) and none of them worked satisfactorily. They would simply not stay on place and my cell phone always would be dropped during the most dangerous times while I was driving. Bracketron - TripGrip Car Holder works as advertised and now I can use my cell phone for directions, without being worried that it will fall eventually on my lap, after driving just a few miles.

I love this mount. It slides easily on and off the A/C vents in my car and works great with my Samsung S8. I can't believe I waited this long to get a mount like this and am so happy with this one.

Works pretty well and stays in place. The only issue I have is that the clip doesn't always close around my phone when I mount it to the product. I have to manually press a button in the back to allow the sides to tighten around my phone. Other than that, it;s a great product that stays secure to my car's air vent. It's a good alternative to a windshield mount holder that losses it's grip after time. Well worth the money I spent on it.

I had bought these vent clip types of Cell Phone holders in the past, and they all failed after getting hot in my car. They'd loosen up and fall off, very annoying. I bought a Bracketron suction type holder that attached to the windshield, and my phone got so hot, it wasn't good, but it stuck and stayed in place fine. I tried moving it from the side window my car has and the suction finally failed, (I've had that one for about 3 yrs!) I had to replace it, but didn't want another windshield mount. My car doesn't have a smooth enough surface besides, the windshield, to attach another suction type holder, so I decided to try another vent mount one. This holder is great, due to the brace at the bottom, it doesn't bounce up and down, and the clips are very sturdy! It's very secure while I'm driving, keeps the phone cool, and the clamps holding the phone work better, glides open and close much better than the older Bracketron TripGrip! I really like this one!!!

Needed an inexpensive mount to use in vehicle. Walked and immediately saw the TripGrip holder. I’ve been impressed with it since set I‎t up. Works well with my iPhone.

Very pleasantly surprised by the TripGrip Car Holder. It fits perfectly, is extremely easy to install and to attach and detach the phone. And is not unsightly.

The item works well, although if it is attached and empty, it will sometimes rattle. I'm not sure if that's the item though, or simply the way it interacts with my car. I chose this particular type of holder because I wanted the phone close to eye level, but not on my dash, where it might obstruct my view and create a blind spot. I compared it to a few others I found online, and appreciated that this version has a brace at the bottom. Phones can be surprisingly heavy, so that additional support is nice. I have tested it several times on trips which last over half an hour, and it works well when I pull up my map app. I have not yet tried to swivel it sideways, so I can't comment on the way it works on a horizontal. I recommended it to my mother, who also purchased one. Overall, we are happy with the purchase, especially in regards to the price for the quality.

I really like that it is handsfree and that it can move easily to get a good view of my phone. My only problem is that every time I make a turn, the weight of my phone in the holder causes the vent to move side to side. I had to jam a gift card in the vent to keep my phone from moving while driving. Other than that it works great and it is a great price!!

The TripGrip holder works wonderfully with my Samsung 8. I clip it to my car's air vent and it stays secured. I recommended it to all my friends.

I have an iphone 7 and it's great for keeping on the dash for easy viewing. It hooks to the A/C duct and keeps the phone cool when driving on a hot day. I live in FL so it gets pretty hot if you leave the phone in the sun while you drive. I've had phones shut down because they overheated even with the AC running so now I like to have an A/C vent holder for my phone. You squeeze the bottom to release the grip and just squeeze it to tighten. Holds securely and you can turn it to the side to see videos in long screen. Good product design.
