The design holds the phone well when the mount is properly adjusted to squeeze the phone on its sides. Pressing the button on the right side while squeezing the side brackets together to hold the phone is the challenging part, because if it's not done correctly, then the phone can slip out of the mount. However, removing the phone from the mount is a piece of cake, because pressing the side button will widen the side brackets automatically, and then you can just grab the phone and go! I opted for this product, because the product I really wanted (the one with the magnet that holds the phone) had mixed reviews in my opinion, where some folks said it held the phone well, and others said the phone would come right off and sharp turns, etc. I bought 3 of these for our cars, and 1 for a relative.

Easy to install but make sure you get it seated well in the vent. Like the one touch release but it did start sticking on release in a few short releases. Not bad enough to be a problem with my phone though. Hoping it well last. Like the ability to use it horizontal or vertical. Holds the phone good and tight no fear of it dropping phone.

I am very pleased with the TripGrip cell phone holder I purchased from Best Buy. It easily installed in the vent, and holds my cell phone tightly enough. It is so great having it at the vent height on the front of my dashboard. Makes it much easier to glance at and push buttons when need be. I highly recommend it.

With MN’s new hands free law in effect, I needed to find a phone holder that would fit my 2014 Honda Accord. I wanted something easy to reach and yet still provide me with visibility and accessibility to all my dashboard instruments. This item fits the my requirements. It was easy to attach, just couldn’t insert it fully as it impacted the ability to adjust vent right-left. However, still holds in place. I was concerned how it would restrict airflow from my right driver’s vent, but thankfully it doesn’t. Now the test will be to see how well the catch and release mechanism holds up but so far easy to use.

I have an HTC One M9 and this holder fits my phone perfectly, it's at eye level and holds firmly, Perfect! Easy to use.

This one wasn't. I actually only bought it expecting it to be no more than a temporary solution to my sudder need of a new dash mount. I genuinely expected it to be a junk item that refused to hold firmly to the dash, would be near impossible to get on/off, and would deteriorate just looking at it. With all that said, what I got was a complate 180° surprise. Let me give it to you in a brisk list. 1. Utilitarian construction - no gimmicks or unnecessary bits 2. Well made from a durable plastic blend 3. Easily applied to the vents of most vehicles thanks to thick, firm foam/neoprene pads on the claws 4. Easily removed because of those same pads being forgiving when carefully pulled directly away from the vents 5. Curved in arms allow you to cradle your phone loosely in the holder - if you get in and out a lot, this canew be worth the price of admission Overall, just a well built holder that doesn't get in the way and keeps your phone cool (when the A/C is on). Oh, one thing. It will NOT handle anything much larger than you typical phones with a mildly bulky case. For example, I recently upgraded to one of the newer Galaxy models and put a Love MEI Aluminum case on it. If you have one of those silly bulky animal cases or a damage-proof one like mine, you will have to either lose the case or refrain from this holder.

Easy to use. Seems secure and attaches to car's heating vent easily. Easy to remove or put phone back in. Easy to see and not lose track of where I am on the road

Even though I have a bulky and large case on my phone, it holds it securely. It’s very easy and fast to secure and remove my phone to and from the mount. It’s easy to install onto the car vent and adjust the angle. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I had to get a holder since I upgraded to a bigger phone and my original phone was small enough to fit in the cup holder. It holds it well, but I do suggest to use the middle stand to hold up the phone well enough if it droops down which it will depending on the size of the phone.

Once you get it placed it stays there. It does hold my phone with the case on it. The problem is if you don’t tighten the grips to the phone really really good, first time you go over a bump your phone is on the floor. Ask me how I know! Once you get used to that it’s not bad.

Looking for a car holder that I did not need to stick to my window or dash as I move it between vehicles a lot. Easy to use and holds my IPhone 7 Plus without a problem.

This phone holder is great. I just set my phone on it and adjust the sides. It holds my phone well.

The car holder was easy to install. It is very easy to put the IPhone in and out of the holder. The phone is very secure in the holder and the holder stays put in the car vent. I can see the phone clearly when driving.

After several failures in trying to find a phone holder, Finally, SUCCESS. The mount is easy to use, squeeze to secure, click to release, and hold an iPhone 7 and iPhone 10, very securely, no jiggle at all. Love it.

I wanted a vent mount holder to clear my field-of-view as I hated the distraction from my windshield mount. I have an I-6 with a Lunatic case that is almost the size of an I-6+ and is quite heavy. This Bracketron attaches securely to the smallish vents on my car (Ford Focus ST) & is adjustable via a ball joint for desired alignment. My only concern is how the vents will be affected due to the added weight & vibration, which only time will tell. I do recommend removing a heavy phone like this from the holder if traversing very bumpy roads, just as a precaution, but my phone is a-typically heavy. Bottom line - I am very pleased with product construction, functionality and price!

I had a cheaper version of this which broke couple of times in a row so I decide to spend the extra bucks and get one that was built more steadily I really like this item with one exception and where to go from landscape more to portrait mode you have to loosen the nut behind the holder turn it and then tighten it again the one I had before I could turn by just pushing a button and turning it. Grips the phone great my phone is the iPhone EXR and it fits nicely.

This phone holder does well. It's a little tricky since most buttons are on the side of the phone. You have to align the phone just right or when you squeeze the clamps, the buttons activate. Other than that, it's a good product.

I travel a lot and needed away to display my phone for directions where I could hear and see it. This is perfect for all phones. You can adjust everything and holds my Samsung Note with ease. Able to charge while in holder *which is a great bonus.
