I was in a rush to buy a dash mount for an upcoming trip the very next morning and didn't have a lot of time to research, or the luxury of ordering one online. I had to go directly to Best Buy and browse their in-store selection which, IMO, was pretty sparse. I read all the packaging on them and couldn't decide. I wanted something simple, but sturdy, that wouldn't damage my dash, or drop my new iPhone 6s. This one was tossed on the bottom shelf along with some other clearance items and the packaging was taped back closed (guessing it was a return/resale). I was skeptical but with not a lot of options, I just went for it. This thing is SUPER easy to use and SUPER sturdy. I cleaned my dash off beforehand. You just twist it to suction it on, and twist it back to suction it off (and pull the release tab). That's pretty much it. I was able to mount it on a flat level area of my dash as well as reposition it closer to the front on a slight curve and it still stayed solid as a rock. (Can't go too curvy though, I tried that and it was too easy to pop off.) As for the size adjustment, piece of cake. Top slides up and down for phone height (small notch locks it in place), and the bottom edges swivel out to the sides (or inward) to adjust for width. I was able to adjust this even after it was already mounted, to make my phone nice and snug. I used it for my trip and it didn't move an inch. I was even able to press buttons on my phone while it was mounted and it didn't wiggle or come loose. I was also able to plug my car charger in while it was mounted which was a must. After my trip I removed the mount and stored in my center console. (I've read that leaving them out on the dash for extended periods of time, in the sun, etc. is not good for the mount, or your dash.) I just love how simple this is and that it doesn't take up any space at all or have too many moving parts or complicated adhesives. Just what I was looking for. It also came with a bonus USB adapter to charge your phone in the car. Side note: I'm noticing that the photo representation of this item doesn't look exactly like mine. I've attached a photo of my exact model.

This was easy to set up and is very sturdy ony dash. Quality is excellent. Exactly what I was looking for and I am completely happy with this product.

It's a very good product. Easy to fit my iPhone5. Stable and easy to adjust the angle.

Was pleased with the mount, works well as advertised. Seems sturdy and stuck to windshield first try. Has not fallen off even once. Looks pretty good also.

I was so hoping this would work for my fiancé's phone. He travels a lot and more and more states are going hands free. His Samsung S4 fit great. It's a good holder. But, it doesn't stick to anything...the front of the console, the top of the dashboard, not even the window/glass. This sticky, gel type of holder just doesn't work. And the suction cup doesn't help at all. Doesn't work! I returned and started searching again.

Works as intended! Very sturdy! I bought this because my other phone holder broke. Very good price as well!

Purchased this for my teenager so she could use her GPS in her phone so she can mount it where it is easy to see without looking away from the road!

I purchased an open box version even after reading a few negative reviews. For the price, it was worth a shot. I have no idea why someone wrote their phone won't fit. Is it their iPad?? My iPhone 5 in a big waterproof case is held just fine. The only time the mount has NOT stuck is when i pull on the phone without lifting the latch. I do have it mounted on a non-textured surface in front of the clock display on my Accord. Maybe it's different on a textured dash. I can probably guarantee it would work on the windshield just great as well. Love how I can tilt it back to plug power into bottom if needed. Very happy with this purchase.

Purchased to hold my iPhone in a rental car, since I use my phone as a GPS. This secures the phone to the dash well. I would prefer a suction cup, but so far, so good.

I don't use my maps app that often for navigation when driving so this holder meets my needs as its mounted out of the way but still convenient when needed

Very pleased with this holder. The suction cup works great and doesn't budge. Easy to adjust and position it to fit your device exactly how you want it held.

Well, at first I thought is not cool , but when I realized it, it's awesome , it stay steady , it can moves , the fact is good product

Be sure to get it in the right location the first time. The adhesive doesn't hold quite so well if it's removed from the initial location

This mounted to my dash and holds my cell phone where it is convenient for me. It preforms as expected. I would definitely recommend it!

This dash/window mount works just until it stop sticking....had to discard and buy a different brand

It barely fits my phone, a Galaxy S7 with the slimmer Otterbox Commuter case on it, but it does fit. I haven't attached it to the windshield yet, so I'm not sure about the suction cup. It tightens down with a dial instead of a lever, so I'm a little skeptical.

This bracket is perfect for my vehicle! Stays in place during hot weather and with the car moving!

I'm very happy with this purchase. I have had this mounted on my dadhboard for a month now and it has never come off even though my dash has some texture to it. It holds my phone securely and is very easy getting my phone in and out of. I have used it for an iPhone 6 as well as for a galaxy 5, the galaxy 5 just barely fit when positioned laterally.

Works very well but not on all dash surface types. Holds very well on windshield.
