Underappreciated G Romero + S King!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Dark Half is one of my favorite Steven King books. So when the adaptation by Night of the Living Dead's George Romero came about I was sure to watch it. Despite rumors of set problems and studio funding falling out from under him, Romero delivers a great adaptation of a great book. The blu ray has good video audio and special features, with lots of Romero himself (no King, as per usual). The movie has slowly gained a cult following with its nightmare scenario and atmosphere (though I do criticize the lack of brutality from the novel). An underrated rough gem, and the special features really give you a good look behind the scenes.
