Picture and sound quality seemed better than BR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture and sound quality seemed better than a lot of Blu-ray disks. We had some trouble with starting up in the middle of the disk (episodes). We left it in the player overnight, and between episodes, and when we started it again the next day, we would get this horrible checkerboard picture. Each disk had to be unloaded and reloaded, and then it played okay. Doing this and being a hearing impaired person, we had to set up the captions every time after we unloaded and reloaded. Very inconvenient. This resulted in a 4 as opposed to a 5 rating.
