It gets the job done. Used an electric for a little while, but it pulled at the hair, so I switched to a safety razor. The razor was super smooth and close, but would cut up my face if I needed to hurry. This electric doesn't pull the hairs and does a pretty good daily job. It does not, however, get super smooth.

Price was good, I really like the self cleaning base.

Good build, but not much better than my old Braun but does the job as far as shave. The trimmer, however, is of limited use. It's oddly curved and placed in such a way you can't see where you're trimming that well. Forget it if you're trying to make straight edges around the beard or sideburns.

My last Braun of the same model lasted almost 10 years! Still working, but I finally wanted a new one. This one a bit quieter. A great shave for those who may be allergic to shaving creams etc

This is my second purchase of this shaver after the first one lasted nearly 6 years with only 2 blade changes. Great value as the series 7 is now the "older" top of the line Braun shaver.

It's a great product the only downfall is that you do have to shave over a spot several times if not more and sometimes at different angles. And even then it really sometimes doesn't shave and you have to use a regular razor. Doesn't leave any razor burn or residue behind.

I purchased this razor to replace my previous that would leave my skin irritated. This electric razor leaves the skin smooth with no irritation. I love and I'm glad I made the purchase.

I got this shaver to replace an earlier model that had finally worn out. So far, it seems to work well. It doesn't cut quite as close as a multi-blade safety razor, but then no electric I've tried does. The self-cleaning function is handy.

Had a previous, but similar, model that lasted about 6 years. You need go over certain spots on the face, just like any razor, but this model has worked best for me and my sensitive skin on my neck.

This was an early Christmas gift and it works great. I was concerned about having to buy additional cleaning solution but have used it for almost a month and the cleaner is only down a little bit.

If you looking to invest in a good shaver this is the one. I have never used one like this one before. It leaves my skin so smooth with 0 irritation. Worth every penny!

While this is the best shaver I have found for my thick beard, it does not shave real close on the rugged beards. Still have to use a straight razor weekly to avoid ingrown hairs on my neck.

Have had over 6 months and use it 5x week haven't had any problems with it so far. Does struggle a little with over 3 days worth of beard growth though

I find the shaver easy to use, comfortable, and clean shaving. I like its self-cleaning recharger unit.

Overall a good razer. I would like to be able to clean it with a brush, but the foil does not appear to be removable. I do like that it can be rinsed under water. However, the cleaning system appears to be set by amount of usage rather than actual need for cleaning.

Best shave ever with large size shaving heads. Plus the cleaning unit that is included makes this a must buy.

The Braun Shaver does an excellent job of getting a close shave. The holding device charges the shaver, keeps it clean and lubricates the cutting blade.
