This trimmer is excellent, it is way more than I need. I like that its wet/dry and the charging/cleaning dock is awesome. Only thing I don't like is because it comes with the cleaning station the manufacturer states it doesn't work with shaving gel. I use gel and just clean mine out well before using the cleaning station. If you don't need wet/dry or have a 5 o'clock shadow at noon get the 7 series.

does a great job except around the bottom of the neck area. the cleaner does a good job also.

Well made bought the top of the line 9095 includes a stand/charger/washer avg cost $20-$30 per 3[$piece]. (1) refill last about 1 month before the red warning comes up and it does not matter how much you use it because its a alcohol base wash and its open to evaporate that waste as much as cleaning it waste. but it works well cleaning just an added cost. The Replacement razor heads on the other hand are very hard to find and Brauns answer was it should last 16-18 months by then we should have more in stock. Before you buy this please research where to buy it pretty much online no issue but at stores good luck online its about $79 so at $7 wash refill and $5 for $79/16 = 5 it cost about $12 month not a huge saving over Gillette Performance is very good gets under nose well checks very well side very well has a side burn trimmer etc but it can't do my neck near my adams apple in any direction no matter what yes my hair at that spot goes in every direction but this razor is designed for that it was suposed to be a complete replacement to a razor but i have to the razor for one spot its not worth it for $289 have to return it maybe its my hair but cant justify this was a gift from my Girlfriend

Upgraded from a series 7 and this shaver has features that stand above the previous. First, the travel lock to keep the shaver from running in a bag or other is a welcome feature. Next the shaver foil cutter block produces a cleaner shave than older models, wet/ dry shaving also is a plus. Pricey model to some, well worth the end result, worthy purchase and Braun products are built to last!

I have a very thick beard with 5 o'clock shadow later in the day. I normally shave with a safety razor. Bought this and it shaves well. Not as close as the razor but as close as an electric razor can get. I shave with this each morning and if I want safety razor close, I use the safety razor for one pass. Worth the purchase.

Purchased for my husband diagnosed with cancer and got blood clots during the process. As a precaution we purchased the Braun electric razor to avoid cuts and bleeding. He has gotten fantastic results and getting better shaves as he learns proper usage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

From the moment I turned it on I knew this was not your ordinary electric razor. It had the power to run thru six days of hair on my face like it was nothing. It was especially good with the hair under your chin which was always tough to deal with especially with my old Phillips Norelco.

I'm in shock. I had a 7 series before and i was so happy ,but after i got this one i was so impressed because this one is way better than 7 series. If you want to choose defently choose this one. You won't regret it.

I purchased this as a gift for someone with a heavy, coarse, gray beard and sensitive skin. He's been using it for a month and it has not irritated his skin and he said that it shaves very close. He said a regular razor is still closer, but prefers this Braun to the old razor.

I cannot speak from personal experience as I'm a woman...who lacks facial hair. However, I can tell you that my husband LOVES this thing. He no longer suffers from razor rash, irritated follicles or a constant shadow. In addition, the machine is easy to use and maintain.

This was a gift from my wife and I was excited to try it. It was nice to find the cleaning base came with the shaver. She did a lot of research before purchasing and I couldn't be happier with the wet/dry functions for a nice clean shave. No complaints here!

I bought this shave for my head, I read a lot of reviews and this holds up it got top rated for shaving and it does just that! It's the best shaver I have ever owned, for a electric shaver to cut as close as a regular razor that's pretty impressive!!
