The shaver delivers a very close comfortable shave. Surprised to learn shave cream couldn't be used with the wet option but not a deal breaker.

I have been a customer of Braun electric shavers for years and I've been very happy with earlier models. I pretty much grew up using these products (I've had 4 of them so far)... always upgrading to the newer model when it needed to be replaced. Each razor lasted at least a few years (with replacement heads as needed). The model that I had before this Series 9 model, was the Series 7. I was very happy with the 7, but eventually the charging/cleaning station stopped working after 3 years, so I upgraded to this Series 9 model. I'm sorry to say that I'm very disappointed with the series 9. The quality isn't as good as previous models. It doesn't feel like it has as much power, the extendable long hair trimmer doesn't work nearly as well as the model 7, there is no quick clean option on the cleaning station for the 9, and it goes through the cleaning solution cartridges just as quickly. Side note: the replacement cleaning solution cartridge's that you need to purchase for this line of razors really adds to the cost of owning this razor, and the cleaning stand goes through them pretty quickly. Overall this series 9 is a good electric razor, but I was very disappointed with this product compared to the Series 7. I wish I could exchange it for a Series 7, but I waited too long from purchase date.

I tried this razor out and it was a struggle. The unit itself has an amazing design and the cleaning station is great however if you have slightly coarser stubble it doesn't perform very well. I tried this razor at multiple angles and both dry and in the shower and I could not get a clean shave like other reviews. If it was much cheaper I would be more lenient but at this price I was disappointed.

However, before you purchase keep in mind the cost of the replacement foil and cutter. They have gone up in price drastically.

I love this shaver. At first I was hesitant to buying it because of the price but I don't regret it at all.

I was looking for a latest model from Braun, but in USA this one is the latest model so I bought, so far I like it.

Braun shavers have been good to me. I ran my last one into the ground after at least 6 years.

This razor is just what I was looking for. I am enjoying using it and recommend it to others.

I always buy Braun. They cost more, but the quality of the product mak s it worth it.

Great shaver, terrible trimmer. The shaver trims down beards with ease, trimmer feels flimsy.

Trip protection's Spec shows to hold 3 second but actually you have to hold about 7 seconds

the best shaver ever it realy shave so close to my skin with out the irritation
