Had it pre-ordered before launch. When I got it, I realized it was a Key Card, which is merely a digital game, but you still need to insert the fake cartridge to play. So, I returned it before I opened it.

The game isn't on the actual cartridge. Buyer beware, when the switch 2 service goes offline so does your game apparently from what I read. It still needs the cartridge to be inserted so its like a digital download but more expensive and needs the cartridge like an access key.

This js a great game. The story is engaging, the job system is geat and the battle mechanics are top notch. Just ignore the review bombing from salty children.

This is not a physical release of this title. There is no data on the cartridge.
Game key cards (indicated in the banner at the bottom of the box) have no game data on the cartridge and only download a digital copy to your system. However, the game will not play unless you have the cartridge in the system, despite there being nothing on it.
Do not give your money to these key cards. They are a waste of plastic and are destined for a landfill when the console's servers eventually go down.
You are better off buying a digital copy, or not buying at all and telling the publisher to print an actual physical copy.
