They were super stoked once they opened their gift! Love that you can charge your phone off of the speaker as well as amazing sound!

I wanted to pay a little more this time and get something upgraded. I liked that this speaker is water resistant or more so dust proof. I do not like the sound quality compared to my less expensive speaker. Plus the battery life is not that great in my opinion. So I hope this helps with your choice. I am still using this speaker as I did not have time to return it!
