I chose this device for its claim of up to 20 hour battery life and rugged water resistant rubber exterior, powerful sound and easy travel size. it has met every expectation at a competitive price. Great for poolside BBQ

I've gone through a number of portable speakers beats pill = distortion to much highs no mids or lows, 1st generation jbl charge= loved it but it wouldnt charge after 9 months of usage, dr. Dre's beatbox had high hopes for it even though i got it on special i cant believe people pay $400 dollars its not even loud this one had to much tweeter and to much bass for its size i expected it to be a lot louder, 2nd generation jbl charge sounds nice just not loud enough, and finally BRAVEN i got the BRV-HD i was listening to it at best buy instantly amazed with how loud it was how it has everything nice bass nice mid's and enough high's without over powering the rest although the price is a little high between this and paying $400+ on the beatbox the BRAVEN BRV-HD is a better choice.

Very durable. Sound quality is comparable to all elite bluetooth speakers. Connects easily on bluetooth.

I was at best buy looking to buy portable speakers, truthful for the new portable beats. But then I came across the braven. These speakers are the loudest speakers I've ever heard. Louder and better quality then beats and Bose. Test it out at best buy if you don't believe me. The best purchase I've ever spent! Worth the price and still loud outdoors.

I was so impressed with this speaker that after purchasing the first one I bought two more for other family members. The things that impressed me were the volume, long battery life, durability (splash resistant), and overall sound quality. While the highs can sizzle at times this can be overcome with slight tweaking. That being said, overall this is a solid speaker at the new reduced price.

Loud, long battery life, charges while playing, easy to connect.... Cant complain. Great speaker

This speaker is worth every dime. It is load and it sounds good. No hollow bass or tinny sound here like other compact speakers. The battery last all day and keeps your device charged. My son used the battery on the way home from vacation to keep is iPad streaming Netflix For hours past the what would have been capable without it.

Needed a speaker for harsh work environements but did not want to sacrifice sound. This speaker fits the bill admirably on both fronts. My son accidentally nailed it with a soccer ball kick and sent it flying....not a scratch or change in sound quality. The sound is competitive with any other higher end speaker on the market from Bose, Jawbone, etc.

I got his speaker to replace my Beats Pill XL which got recalled and I am rather happy with my choice. I do think the Pill sounded a little better overall, but considering how rugged this guy is, I was willing to sacrifice the audio quality a little. Very powerful speaker, and I use it outside all the time without worry of the weather.

Awesome speaker for music very easy to set up it was going in a matter of minutes sound is great total balance is neutral through all audio range fill the room up the sound with no problem at all Bluetooth distance is great I was clear across the yard and it was still filling the room with great sound build quality is excellent rugged has some weight to it I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone who likes a long playing time on a single charge I use it at work and I can get a full work week 40 hours out of one charge . so far the best out yet in my opinion its loud, makes music more clear with just a touch of a button, its sturdy plus its water resitant. Its perfect for fun in the sun!

The Braven HD is a very well built blue tooth speaker that has excellent sound quality at all ranges, it is also water resistant. I will be purching another one so that I can pair them for even more audio experience, thank you Braven for the awesome speaker I have been looking for.

Bought this after my Jawbone Jambox blew a speaker. By far worth the 300 dollars.. I work in a shop and it's extremely loud. Very durable seeing as it's shock proof. Also have used it on my boat and you can hear it from quite a ways away.

I work in construction and was looking for a bluetooth speaker that would function well, yet be durable. This gem met both. It was great sound and the case is strong and durable to avoid damage in a non traditional home environment.

I purchased this speaker for my P31 Fitness class and also for riding our Teryx. It works great. Nice and loud and an added bonus is that it is waterproof, so it doesn't ruin when the humidity causes a little moisture. I have had that problem with 2 other speakers, but not with this one!
