Although a product of the 80s, this film's themes and social criticisms makes it a timeless classic. The raw and real characters - thanks to stellar ad-libbing - pulls you into a detention you never wish to leave.

The Breakfast Club looks great on Blu-ray! The story is simple: five students are serving Saturday detention and each learns something about themselves and the others. This is the first Blu-ray release of the film. Having not owned the DVD it was an easy purchase decision.

1985 a bunch of misfits acting out and becoming friends. Interesting to see how great the movie really is. Fun fact. Ferris Bueller was being shot in the same closed down high school location.

A must on film for everyone who grew up in the 80s. This film is one of the best representations of growing up in the 1980s ..I am very happy with the quality of the Blu-ray transfer and all the performances are excellent especially Paul Gleason as the principal

Obviously this is a classic movie but I loved the artwork on this Steelbook. I already on the movie, but had to grab this edition. If you’re a collector or just a fan of this movie, this is a definite pickup.

Great cast. Rebal, jock, popular pretty girl, nerd and a quiet girl all in the cafeteria for detention wich later ends up with them getting to know each other. Otherwise they would have never speak to each other

The quintessential coming of age teen movie. Reminds me of how I reacted being in detention while in high school. I was the bad boy and could relate with Judd Nelson. Lots of memories. Good movie.

This is a classic teen comedy/drama that deserved a high-def upgrade and it is well worth it. I never get tired of this movie and the touching story and the performances from the entire cast makes it one of the best '80's movie ever. Definitely recommended!!

Love this film. Movies aren’t made like this anymore. The cast was great and the soundtrack is fun. Would highly recommend this steelbook edition. Comes with a digital copy for your VUDU account!

Any fan of anything 80's will want to own this movie. Truly a classic I don't have time to explain plot or AV specifics, just trust me, the movie came out in 1985 & the restoration looks crisp, sharp & amazing! Make sure you buy this version of the movie for the restoration, but if you own the 25th anniversary version it's not too much of an upgrade. My only complaint is that they could have made a couple new featurettes or maybe a new Commentary for the 30th anniversary.

Absolutely one of the very best John Hughes movies from the 1980s. This is a must have for any collection. Highly recommended, but you are probably already familiar with this movie.

I was browsing through the Blu-Ray bins and saw this movie which has always been one of my favorite 80s high school movies of all time. I was grateful to see the film upscaled to Blu-Ray quality. Great movie and great buy!

The Blu-ray transfer is decent and the sound quality on par with most films of the era. This is a quintessential generation X film we can all relate to. So well done with an excellent cast.

It's a classic film staring the "Brat Pack" and a quintessential 80's film for any collection. If they were to remake the Breakfast Club today, it would be a silent film since kids today are so focused on technology and their phone.

The Breakfast Club 1985 classic. Here you have the old Rat Pack Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, and Anthony Michael Hall. This is the old John Hughes classic of 1985. The extras you find out a lot of information about this movie it is well worth the money to get this on Blu-ray specially at the cheap price at its at right now $6. If you like the old 80's movies this is well worth anyone's collection.

I love this movie, so I finally gave in and bought it in Blu-ray since Best Buy was having some kind of sale that day. I love the special edition bonus features; since I know the movie by heart, it is cool to watch the behind the scenes stuff.

Brat Pack gold. If you don't have this in your collection, you MUST add it. A film classic chock full of memorable lines with a killer soundtrack to boot. Nobody does high school drama like John Hughes.

Being a teen in the 80's, this is one of my the favorite movies of the 80's. In my opinion, the best John Hughes movie made. The actors play so well off of each other.
