I had a SAECO espresso maker for 25 or 30 years. It was solid as a rock. I replaced the pump 3 times and the group head twice, but otherwise it was solid. A beautiful piece of equipment. I was apprehensive of the Bambino because it didn't have the solid feel of the SAECO, and has a lot of electronics.
But now that I have it I absolutely love it. It makes much better espresso, so much so its shocking. It doesn't over extract the way the SAECO did. Secondly, and in some ways most important is that its incredibly fast. Its ready to either steam or brew in just a couple of seconds. I can pull expresso and steam milk immediately, back and forth more quickly than I can load coffee into the head! The temperature is correct, and stable. I can't express how much better this is. I didn't steam milk with the old machine, wait for it to heat, steam, then wait for it to cool to brew. This machine is amazing in its ability to steam and brew instantly and accurately. I don't think its going to last 30 years, but its superiority makes up for it.

Pretty good. I don’t think it’s the best espresso maker out there but it makes a pretty decent one. It is a little loud and does sputter the espresso a bit not matter what I do, could be user error as I am new to the espresso maker world. This is definitely way better than the previous brand I tried. And good for my purposes.

Have had this espresso machine for a few weeks now. It's been easy to use as someone who just started making espresso. The manual milk frothing is tricky as a beginner to make my latte art, but it still tastes good. Espresso shots are coming out even better than the local coffee shop. Addicting.

I really enjoy this, as a former barista this is everything you need. Only downside is the steam wand takes 5-10 seconds to shut off once turned off. If you have the money, I would definitely get the upgraded version because it can only get better from this. But for the price this is perfect.

We needed a new espresso maker--our Cuisinart model bit the dust after only two years. Our daughter recently purchased the Bambino Plus and has been happy with it. Because we don't mind steaming milk manually, and don't mind the stainless steel finish, we ordered the Bambino rather than the Plus--thereby saving $100. We are still getting used to the new machine, but so far, here are the PROS:
Compact size
Easy to access/fill water reservoir
Moveable Steam wand
CONS:
We still struggle with getting the grind right, despite using fresh beans and a blade grinder. It's a work in progress!

I am saving so much money so the $300 price tag is worth it. This unit was recommended by a former Starbucks barista and it works great! So easy to use as well. Spoil yourself, it's worth it!

I was concerned when I switched from a much larger Breville to a smaller machine that I would loose some quality but since my old machine was almost 10 years old, I feel that the new technology in this revel bambino is exceptional. I noticed it draws a lot of energy when I push shots but the quality of the shots and the texture are really good. The small footprint of the new machine and how fast it’s ready to pull espresso shots. I went with this model because I don’t make a lot of cappuccinos or milk based coffees so for the price point I believe it is spot on. It’s also an easy machine to use.
