they need to include the SINGLE WALL filters, machine works a lot better with them for tampering, grind etc. etc. Ditch the Permafilters included. But if you are scared to experiment with perfect crema, then keep them. Overall great price for a semi pro machine. Easy to use and clean. Looks great, steam wand TAKES PRACTICE, takes a long time to froth milk....BUT you CAN get good micro foam...not perfect, but pretty darn good for a starter machine. Also ditch the wand attachement....it only makes big bubbles in your milk.

I ordered this from BestBuy.com for a Christmas present for my fiance. It arrived non-functional. Best Buy customer service told me to take it to the store and they would order a replacement. The store gave me a refund but couldnt order a new one as this was a refurbished model (which the customer support rep on the phone knew), but told me to order a replacement online. I discover the unit was discontinued and Bestbuy.com was just getting rid of existing stock. I emailed the corporate office and was contacted immediately by a senior support rep. I ended up ordering the gaggia brand new for the same price ($200, $250 including tax and shipping). Best Buy even knocked off $100 for my inconvenience (Christmas was late for my fiance!). My experience with the product was lousy, my experience with Best Buy was exemplary. They have kept me as a loyal customer!!!
