I had reservations at first about purchasing a refurbished appliance; however, I felt like it was worth the gamble for only $62. I can absolutely say that I have gotten a great value for my money. The blender works great - immaculately even. The only con I will indicate is that it's noisier than I had anticipated. Perhaps this is due to whatever was repaired by the manufacturer. Otherwise, I love it and I'd buy it again if I had to!

I thought that the very attractive price made buying worth the risk. As reported in many reviews this otherwise very solidly made product has a design flaw. The container leaks. Aware of this possibility, I was very, very careful to follow assembly and cleaning instructions. I even called customer service. Despite my care, the container leaked. In addition, the printed instructions talks about things not to use the machine for, i.e., hot liquids. However good the price and looks, it makes very little sense. I'm into an inexpensive Oster and we'll see how long it lasts. It doesn't leak.

This thing is amazing!! It doesn't leak at all if the blender is put together as in a previous post. This thing can seriously crush anything that gets put into it. Just drop whatever in it turn it on and walk away the blender does the job for you and it won't walk away on you. Everything is great about this blender from the way it blends, its quietness, its power, and even the electrical cord plug. I highly recommend this to anyone you will not be dissapointed one bit.

Some reviews say that it leaks. Mine did too when I first used it. All that needed to be done is tighten the blade with the included tool and the rest is history! I love it....

I bought this unit from BestBuy Outlet last year and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a higher-end blender at a low-end price. I've had a few blenders over the years and I wanted to go all out and get a nice blender, but I couldn't bring myself to spending $200 for one... When I saw this, I jumped on it and I don't regret it. I love the "Smoothie" function... it goes through a programmed sequence (10 seconds at normal speed, then to a pulsing speed, then to a slower speed... and so on), this ensures that you have a nice even mixture and it's quite impressive.
