Great machine for someone who is starting to make coffee

For a first time espresso maker, this took about 1 full bag of coffee to get the hang of making good coffee. This was 100% user error and not the machine.. Turns out tamp pressure is the most volatile element for this machine, everything else is automatic. I went ahead and bought a 30lb pressure, IKAPE 53mm Espresso Tamper and every pour has been perfect since then!

Very simple to use, easy to clean and descale. No longer purchasing coffee from coffee shops!

Got hooked on lattes & cappuccino in a visit to Italy. I wanted a machine where I could buy my own coffee instead of having to buy pre-filled cups of ground coffee. The machine takes a little getting used to but after a few days you get the hang of it. My wife loves her morning coffee now & the steamed milk is great with hot chocolate too. Only had it for about a month but so far it's a winner!

My wife used to work at starbucks now shes making starbucks coffee for both of us! Its tastes better than starbucks because you can customize the taste on your own.

We are very happy with the Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine! It took just a few runs in order to tweak the grind level to the perfect 20-23 second pour, and we have been happily creating our favorite espresso drinks daily since then. We purchased this particular machine online after reading the reviews, with research (as this is pricey for a ‘home’ espresso machine), and pickup was super easy!
