I'd like to preface this by stating that prior to this purchase I spent countless days researching and watching reviews for the most optimal Espresso Machine before stumbling onto this item. This espresso machine works really well! There are a lot more pros than there are cons and I will do my best to list them. PROS: - There are a ton of controls but is extremely easy to use. - You can control the level of granularity w/ your coffee beans. - You can control the temperature of your water to a certain extent. - You can configure presets for the amount of espresso you would like brew. - You can preset the perfect amount of beans to grind. - It is intelligent enough to tell you when to clean and drain. - The frothing wand is fun and easy to use. - Super easy clean up. - Super straight forward and easy deep cleaning. CONS: - Sometimes the coffee beans don't sift down to the grinder and throws off your preset amount of beans to grind. - The "Perfect" grind for me ends up spilling some of the ground off the Portafilter and makes a little mess. - The water catcher fills up pretty fast. Overall I really enjoy this product. I don't see myself going back to regularly brewed coffees, and I'm pretty sure people only come over for my espresso now.

Love it. It was very easy to use. Easy to put together. He makes a great cup of espresso. My wife and I enjoy espresso every night after dinner. Up till now it’s been kind of a pain to make it. It’s nice having fresh ground beans

I purchased the Breville Express Expresso machine, after not having been happy with another brand's product. This machine has been exactly what I needed, as a first time barista. Every tool on this machine has been thoughtfully engineered. The grinder is versatile, with a variety of settings. The milk frother is simple to use. The extraction of expresso that is produced with this machine is high quality. I have enjoyed learning how to program the machine and dial in quality extractions of expresso.

Delicious espresso coffee from a compact machine. Nothing feels cheap and it is pretty simple to use once you start using the machine. Dialing it in to get the right espresso pull will take time but i enjoy the challenge. I wish there was an easier way to grind decaf and caffinated beans but other than that i am satisfied with this purchase. Fyi brushed steel scratches easily so be prepared for a scratch here and there

This machine is easy to use and makes such great espresso! You may have to grind your coffee more finely than what the instructions suggest to get proper extraction. I highly recommend this to anyone who finds themselves disappointed with drip coffee and spending too much at a coffee shop!

I hesitated putting out the money for a home espresso machine worried that it wouldn't make a good cup. Boy was I wrong. I should have done it years ago. This machine is clean, works well and makes a great Americano, latte, etc. Cleanup is easy and the razor accessory comes in handy for a lot of things. My favorite move is to partially press the coffee down as it grinds so the grinds don't overflow. The grinder is quick and accurate. Much better than grinding separately and filling the portafilter on your own. I am probably going to buy a second portafilter so I can keep the single shot and double shots installed at all times. It would also be nice to have a second bean hopper so I could switch to decaf at night but that would cost more and would probably have taken it out of my price range.

This machine makes excellent Espresso and other coffee drinks with very little effort. A must have for true coffee lovers. I especially like the Milk Frother. Haven't given Starbucks a penny since I bought it.

Glad I purchased this. Works perfect, once you figure out the settings you like. There is a setting inside the grinder portion FYI. Didn't realize this by the directions in the packaging. Found out on you tube. Like my shots less bitter. Make sure to watch some videos to figure out the process. You don't need to pour a weighted coffee granule amount every time as some videos suggest. You purchased this for convenience and a time saver. Would have given 5 stars on ease of use if the directions included were more specific and I didn't have to start watching videos.

This machine makes the perfect amounts of espresso either for drinking or cooking. the shots of espresso all come out really rich and is not too difficult to clean.

I have saved so much money of coffee shops, and have enjoying 5 star quality coffee at home. One of my best purchases to date!

I bought this for my girlfriend as a bday gift, she uses it every day. Has a bit of a learning curve since she had never used one before, but no complaints over the last yr and a half. Saves so much money and better than any coffee shop.

The machine is great. Using roasted beans and grinding them fresh makes a huge difference. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the shot doesn’t pull enough espresso. Its definitely experimental when trying nee coffee beans and dialing in the right settings.
