High quality craftsmanship, easy to operate and clean, quick heating , built-in grinder works great

I’m a newbie when it comes to espresso making but for someone like me and based on other espressos I’ve tried in countless of places, it’ll be very difficult for me to order an espresso that is better than I make with this machine. I’m still dialing in the settings (burr height/grind size/flow rate) for fresh roasted, but trust me when I say Lavazza Super Crema with a burr height of 8 and grind size 8 and the double wall double shot - yes double shot - portafilter filter will make a perfect, creamy single shot espresso. And if you need help, the customer support with real time online video to help guide you is the best I’ve experienced in a very long time.

Good coffee beans and my Barista Express Impress and I'm now the barista in my family. Great quality machine and very easy to use. I wish It has a bigger water reservoir. The selector of different grind for the beans let you bring your coffee to the flavor you wish. A great coffee machine!

We made the swap from a Nespresso machine because we were spending nearly $1,000 a year on pods. So far, we are loving the Breville Express Impress. Be aware that when you swap to a new type of bean, the grind will most likely need to be adjusted. We have used the "auto" dosing for grinds & itis fairly accurate after the first few uses. Swapping the shot sizes in the portafilter is a bit tricky & I wish there was an easier way to swap between the single & double. Luckily my husband & I are both using the double so we don't have to deal with changing it anymore.

My biggest recommendation for anyone starting out is to invest in high-quality, fresh coffee beans, as the machine really shines when you aren't using stale, store-bought options. It is a great investment for anyone looking to level up their home cafe game.

Great machine! I’ve had it about 4 months thus far, and it’s been great. I do have problems with consistent shots, but I feel like that’s more user error than the machine.

Great esspresso maker! Makes great espresso every time! I love mine so much I bought one for a gift! There are a lot of video's on YouTube that show how to use it that is very helpful with adjusting the grind and tips.

Well worth the cost. Café style coffee at home is the best. Very easy to use and set up. Quality of the machine is very high. After contemplating this purchase for many months glad I pulled the trigger whole family is satisfied.

I’ve been using my Breville Express Compress expresso coffee maker for about a month now. It was hard for me to spend this much money on a coffee maker but a Best Buy discount that I caught on my app made it more enticing. I have enjoyed using this machine and the Expresso is excellent. I have no regrets on my decision so far

This machine is great, use it everyday with ease. Breville is a known brand and the look and built quality is exceptional.

Overall, the coffee it makes is really good, but it’s a bit tricky to fine-tune the brew time while also getting the right dose. In my opinion, the automatic tamper is a bit too weak, which affects the extraction. Because of that, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The tamper plays a key role in brewing, so it would be great if it applied a bit more pressure.

Small issues: This is our second espresso machine by Breville. The first chewed its main grinding gear up due to bad beans. Could be solved by not using a cheap plastic main gear…..especially for the cost of this item. Cosmetic issue with this item: the top on the older model was stainless steel are now plastic! Functionally the grinder takes some trial and error. Always do a test press just encase someone did a grind and walked away! Power button of the system is on the opposite side of the system compared to the older models so that has been another annoying factor. Go to hit a double shot and turn the system off……. Other than those minor issue so far the system is working great.

It’s the all in one system I was looking for. Easy enough to switch out the beans (you do have to pick out beans from beneath the hopper if you don’t want to mix beans at all). The tamper is nice to have to create the perfect pressure and I can easily make a full dairy drink in less than 5 minutes.

Bought for my husband who drinks 3 coffees a day. Super simple to use and saves me trips to Starbucks everyday so can’t complain.
