High quality machine — be sure to always buy fresh beans. The price tag is worth it especially with internal tamp. Milk frothing will be a learning curve but will come with practice. (Easy to clean)

A bit on the high end of the price but you get what you pay for! Have used another breville coffee maker for 16 years with no issues... Hoping to get the same out of this unit.

Best investment, went from having to go to Starbucks to just making whatever I want when I want with way better taste. Now me and my wife have lost interest in Starbucks LOL

Coming from a super automatic, dialing in the grind is tough at first but once you do, this machines pulls a great shot. Love it.

The buttons to brew the coffee are failing, Tjhe 2 cup button starts working by itself without any interaction, and this can happen at any time, sometines when I am brewing it stops and restart by itself doubling the brewing time. I opened a ticket with Breville, they want me to record the issue, but it can happen often or take 15 minutes iddle and then it start brewing without anyone touching it,

Does not grind well and the tamping method does not produce good results all the time sometimes the coffee granules get stuck on it.

Love this product! Works very well. Making a good expresso drink takes skill & practice though. Don't presume things will always go perfect, you do have to read the manual and learn how to become a skilled barista. I highly recommend this model. Automatic or manual dosing options, love the grinder and once you have your specific grind dialed it, you are well on your way to making great lattes that you no longer need to spend $6-$7 for a cup at Starbucks.

recently purchased the Breville Impress Espresso Machine and have been very satisfied with its performance. As an espresso enthusiast, I appreciate the quality and consistency this machine delivers. The design of the Breville Impress is sleek and modern, fitting nicely into my kitchen decor. The machine is user-friendly, with intuitive controls that make it easy to use, even for beginners. I particularly love the precision of the built-in grinder, which allows for customizable grind settings to suit different types of beans and preferences. One of the standout features is the steam wand, which froths milk to a silky, microfoam texture that’s perfect for lattes and cappuccinos. However, it does take a bit of practice to get the technique just right. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that the machine can be a bit noisy during operation, particularly when grinding beans and frothing milk. Additionally, the water reservoir could be larger, as frequent refilling is required if you’re making multiple drinks in one go. Overall, the Breville Impress Espresso Machine is an excellent investment for any coffee lover. This is a great espresso machine! It is straightforward to use. Once you get it set just right it gives you a consistent good espresso every time! Set up was easy. If you want a consistently good espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc. this is a really good option. It is much quieter than other machines I have had when grinding the beans. The steam wand can be a little loud if you are using it in the wrong position, but that is expected.

The Breville Barista Pro offers some really great features for the at home barista, and coffee enthusiast, such as the Thermojet technology and the four hole steam wand. The unit requires some patience to get dialed in, but once you have down, it makes some amazing coffee. If you dont want to learn the craft of espresso, you may want to consider the Breville Impress version because it takes out a lot of the guess work. One thing I learned about this unit is that there is an “inner” grinder setting which I needed to adjust to get the correct grind for the coffee I was using. After watching many videos, and a lot of wasted shots, I think I’ve got it! Overall, I am very happy with the unit and would recommend it to others. A few upgrades I wish the unit would come with is a lever instead of a dial for the steam wand control, a bottomless portafilter, and a dosing cup. Hope this review helps!

The machine works exceptionally well, and the grinder built-in is really well built, it works vetter than our separate handheld coffee grinder. Milk steaming is a bit of a left handed activity, as its controlled by a knob that's not easy to access with your left hand, for those that are right-handed

I’m totally blown away by this compact espresso machine. It is very thoughtfully and skillfully made for those who want a quality espresso with the least amount of effort. Assisted tamping mechanism is what makes all the difference. Fantastic job Breville!
