The current Breville espresso machines come with this piece, and since I have the old one I didn’t have it. I was always frustrated that coffee grounds were spilling out and when I saw this was available I wanted to get one immediately. It does the job very well. The coffee grounds stay in the filter where they belong. It’s made of good quality durable plastic.

Where has this been all my life? For years of using the Breville, I hated getting espresso grinds spill all over the portafilter and wondered there has to be a better way. Didn't know until years later that they had this to better keep all the grinds inside the portafilter. Honestly they should've just included this with the espresso machines. The dosing funnel feels high quality. Really just get it.

Essential for any double espresso dosing. Solid quality construction and easy usability. Without it the grounds go everywhere.

This dosing funnel works great. We have not used it when grinding espresso coffee yet. We use it when putting pre ground espresso into the dual wall coffee basket to keep excess espresso grounds spilling over and making a mess.

Fits well and saves us time / lets us do other things while our beans grind. Highly Recommend!

This funnel works so well with Breville's smart grinder as it clips onto it, so coffee grinds go directly into your portafilter.
