My wife got me this for Christmas. Simply the best tea maker I’ve ever come across!!!

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. It works great as a water kettle.

I'm a big tea drinker, but not a huge kitchen guy, in fact by and large I consider that my boyfriend's turf. But this gadget is lovely. I had a tea maker for home already, and a nice one at that. (Adagio's TriniTEA, which is now at work. In fact this doubled as an excuse to move that there, now I kinda wanna get another of these for the office.) This one is better. It's quite a bit more pricey, but the degree of control over the temperature and steeping times, as well as doubling as a cordless electric kettle really make it a stellar deal. It's pretty easy to clean and maintain too, even with the limitation of no submerging or wetting the bottom of the carafe. It might take away some of the magic to the ritual of preparing tea yourself, but it's pretty engrossing to watch it do it's thing all the same.

Purchased this tea maker after getting hooked on loose-leaf tea from Teavana. It's great in that you can program the water temperature to within a few degrees of recommended brew temperatures. Nice to be able to make a whole pot. While I was excited about the moving tea basket, I now pretty much leave it off, as it cuts down on the amount of time your tea spends in the water if you are making less than 32 oz of tea. Plus if you are making more than 32 oz, the basket gets totally submerged, which allows too many smaller tea leaves to escape out the top. Also the screen on the pouring edge could be finer, and a better fit to the edge of the glass. I often pour through a coffee filter if we have too many tea leaves floating after brewing. I have not found cleaning the basket to be much of a problem, but cleaning the pot can be as it's somewhat difficult to get all the areas behind the basket post clean. Had I not had $125 in gift cards, I never would have purchased this at full-price. While we do enjoy our pot, I would not purchase again at this price.

Great, No Hassle Tea! Makes the tea amazingly! All the presets take out all the guess work and the timed feature to make tea right when I wake is amazing!

I absolutely love this tea maker. Another having a Krups tea maker for years, I was unsure of how I would like this Breville. Super easy to use and makes great tea! And the cleaning process is superb. It will look like a new tea maker fresh out of the box. It's expensive but worth every penny I paid for it.

This tea maker makes great tea. I've enjoyed it. Until the carafe cracked. The company doesn't offer a replacement. They offer a 40% off coupon to buy a new one. I'm not going to purchase another, too expensive.
