    i seitched from wemo and so far no problem or disconnection in my homekit setup, work realivle. I have a hub, people complaining about it need to read and do your research before buying, but company should included maybe another image stating that hib is needed to prevent it people from buying just a solo switch and thinking it will work.

    We have 1 light that is controlled by two switches (one switch near the entrance and one in the living room). After installing the Brilliant Control in our living room we realized we needed a smart switch for the entrance so that the app can accurately tell us whether the light is on or off. I must’ve read the prompt wrong because even though I knew the control works with other brands of smart switches, I thought we needed to buy the Brilliant Switch in order to have the light work the way it should. So we bought it and installed it, it’s very nice and sleek and it worked. We were very happy but after a few days, the Brilliant Switch stopped responding to physical touch (still worked in app). So we uninstalled it from the app and re-added it. That made it work again but only for a day. So we re-added again and it stopped working again after a day. We have given up and now don’t even use the switch at the entrance, it’s really inconvenient that it doesn’t work since I usually use that switch to turn off the light in the hallway when I leave the house, I know we can do it from the app but I came home one day and the lights were still on because I forgot to use the app to turn it off. I recently asked my brother about it since his condo is the same layout as ours and he also has the brilliant control. He said his works perfectly BUT he has a Wemo smart switch at the entrance and not the Brilliant switch. So that means I could’ve just used any compatible brand for our switch and saved money while doing it but now we are stuck with this non working switch…stay away!

    Brilliant Hub is needed for this to work

    Did not work with Philips Hue setup, had to return. FYI you need the Brilliant Hub for this to work.

      Hi Xiotis,

      Sorry to hear you returned your device. In order for the Smart Dimmer Switch to work, you do need to have a Brilliant Home Control installed in your house. Once the Home Control is installed, the Philips Hue integration should work as intended. brillianthometechnology

    Really regret buying into this system. They are incredibly difficult to set up… the switches aren’t very responsive (delayed response to input)… and they easily get messed up if someone leans on the switch, causing it to go into setup mode. I’m currently uninstalling all of them and replacing with another system as they got so frustrating to deal with.

    It funny. I have seen a lot of negative reviews. So far I have greater than 10 of these and they work well. Especially like the motion features and coordination with the control units. Occasionally something takes a call to the company, but so far they are readily available and knowledgeable.
