This coffee maker is definitely different, but a good kind of different. I got tired of having my same hot coffee every morning. This was a game changer! I just make it the day before and it lasts for days in the fridge!

This came in handy to try out making some homemade fresh cold brew coffee. I didn't have any problems with leaks. it has worked perfectly so far.

I used many cold bre makers mainly French press. They always left grounds that were bitter. The brim model has a cotton like filter that stops the grinds from getting into the coffee!

we make this every night for cold coffee in the morning. just be precise for the amount or it can become very strong fast.

Brought as a gift for my Boyfriend, he loves this cold brew maker and uses it everyday and it very happy that he received it as a gift

Love it. Cold brew is much so much smoother and easier on the stomach! The only negative is it takes a lot of coffee to brew.

Filters float up and it is a pain. Needs weight to make sure that t doesn’t ruin coffee.

I don't drink coffee, and I bought this as a gift for someone, and they said they loved it.

This product uses a fancy system to prevent leaks...but it leaked coffee all over my counter. I returned to store for a refund the very next day and bought a product that uses a simple rubber cork. No leaks. Sometimes, low tech is better.

Don't buy this. The idea is cool, and the glass is nice to keep the coffee in (which I still use), but the mechanism that holds and releases the coffee when pushed doesn't work well at all. It comes with a plastic container, which is what you brew the coffee in; and a glass container, which you store it in. The plastic container, featuring the mechanism on the bottom, is useless. There have been many times when I wake up in the morning, ready to strain, and half the amount was on the counter.

This product is faulty and leaks everywhere. I do not recommend this product even at the sale price.

Iced or Blended Coffee is the only coffee I ever drink - so the cold brew fits right into my life. I was so excited to get the box - I opened it shocked how big it is - I guess I expected it to be half the size - but when you are investing time into the brew it makes sense why it’s so big. The glass is very thin - so this is something I would probably hand wash vs. placing in the dishwasher to avoid breaking it. The assembly is very straightforward - love the reusable filters and the neck is so wide it’s easy to wash and dryer. The Process was simple - the coffee came out robust and delicious (I recommend playing with the portions of water/Milk/Coffee/Sugar or Creams)- since I don't drink coffee daily it is great that this stores in the same decanter and last 2+ weeks! If you are a cold coffee lover this cold brew is a must add in your kitchen.

I can’t say enough good things about the Smart Valve Cold Brew Coffee Maker. I had never made Iced Coffee at home and this system has been an incredible addition to my kitchen. The decanter has a sealed lid that keeps the coffee fresh for up to 2 weeks so while it’s a slow drip pour over system, it keeps for a good amount of time so you don’t have to make daily. It’s easy to clean and very easy to use. Sleek design looks great on my countertop which is a huge bonus since it takes anywhere from 12-24 hours to brew. Recommended!

I have gone through a couple of cold brew setups over the last couple of years, this one seems to be the best built. The smart valve is nice in that there is no fighting with a rubber plug hoping the setup doesn't leak out while brewing over night. The glass on the decanter appears delicate but is surprisingly sturdy, as I found out after accidentally giving it a decent hit against my counter top. The filters were easy to prep and to use, as well as to clean out once brewing was complete. I look forward to using this system from now on, as the easier it is to use the more likely I am to have cold brew in my fridge which makes my life better all around.
