The drum unit works well, but I don't know why we have to replace this so often in less than a year.

To be able to print again, it’s a nice feeling. Brother printers are a decent bang for the buck and the prices are reasonable. Can’t beat brother.

First guy was useless & said they didn't have any more toners. I suggested he look in the back since the isle only had enough room for a single box. He fake checked his telephone and said nope. I went to the manager & asked why they wouldn't stock more of these since it's a very good selling printer toner. She went to the back and got one.

I typically do not write reviews for products. However, I feel compelled after multiple failures with this specific drum. 1) It gets dirty too easily. I constantly have to take it out and clean it or I will have black specs all over my documents. Fail! If you want to print manually...it wont let the toner adhere to the paper...therefore it just rubs off. It is a big pain in the rear and has caused me more troubles than I care to count. 2.) It cost more than the printers I own when they are on sale. I just purchased a new brother printer that uses this same drum. Guess what? Same problems and I havent even had it for 24 hours. I've already had to clean it MULTIPLE times. Brother really needs to find a way to make these better. I love brother. I have a color laser printer that uses a different drum. I dont have this problem with that printer. It is THIS DRUM! Rant over.

Ordered this online. Got here in record time and was very happy with the prompt service.

Necessary to be able to continue use of Brother printer. Expenisve but no other options.

This is the second drum we have to replace on a printer like this. Unfortunately, they are not built to last.

The sales guys at our Best Buy told us the cartridge will print 12,000 pages. We didn't get anywhere near that. I bought mine in late June or early July and I had to order a new one today. I don't print many things, but I did just finish making a scrapbook.

Had quality printing; however, I was disappointed with how quickly the ink ran out on a limited number of print jobs.
