Good value and a great step up in page quality

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a giant step up from our 13 year old color laser printer, It renders pages must faster and the images look much better, even on plain paper. It is 13 years newer, so the improvements are to be expected. We compared this with the equivalent HP printer, and this was considerably less expensive for the initial purchase. For replacement cartridges it appears these are slightly less expensive than HP's cartridges, or 3rd cartridges, adding to the lifetime savings. The only downside so far is that the default screen always has a prompt to change the default password. There are only to two of us and my wife is extremely unlikely to change any settings without letting me know.
