Decent printer- Windows 7 users beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Online info from Brother on this model says it's compatible with Windows 7. Unfortunately, Brother's software doesn't agree, even the current downloadable software from Brother. Installation of the software fails saying model isn't compatible with Windows 7. Did a manual install of portions of the software other than the OCR and got a relatively successful install. It copies, prints, & does pdf scans fine, but OCR is apparently out the window.

For the price and speed for a laser multi unit, this one is working fine so far. Time will tell if it will last and continue to print as some of the hp units have done.
