Excellent printer - quick , easy setup , gets the job done esp for the price

Couldn't have asked for a better cheap printer. Pros: Price, quality, ease of setup and display Cons: None really for the price. You get what you pay for and the subscription is optional.

Functions well. Easy to set up and to synch with my computer and iPhone. Only complaint is that the paper tray and its plastic extension are a little flimsy - need to handle them gently,

This printer is perfect for me. My previous printer attempted to force me to use THEIR ink replacement cartridges, so, that was always a battle. This printer's setup was pretty easy and the printer itself has all the options I need, plus it has a much smaller footprint. I appreciate that the paper output tray does not use a large amount of my desk space. The flatbed and paper cartridge feed input for the scanner works exactly as it should. It's somewhat quiet and prints fast enough for me, as a home user. The software is more comprehensive than other brands. It allows you to change, on the fly, the type of file you want for your output (image, PDF, etc.) and also allows you to set which software is the default to open your file. My previous printer (hotel papa) constantly tried to disallow the usage of default Windows settings and force you to use their rudimentary software. The only con for me is that it does not have a touchscreen. Not a big deal but, when you are setting it up for the first time, it takes a few minutes to figure out which button to push and where it is. The print quality itself has very sharp colors and dries quickly (no smearing on regular paper). The direct print from email option is pretty cool. Hint: be sure to safeguard your (customizable) email-to-print address as, someone might accidentally send their regular email to your printer (using up paper and ink). I have never been able to figure out how to fax from home but, this printer's fax option looks pretty straightforward. All in all, this is a great home-use printer. And, because of the price of ink (compared to others) makes the purchase of this Brother MFC-J1010DW a no-brainer.

Great printer wireless no hassle installing. Highly recommend

This was easy to set up and quick to get started. It does everything I need it to do and is not complicated and nothing to download.

Initial setup was a breeze, but it lost a star from me because I've never had such a difficult time setting up wifi for a printer. First, the printer didn't show up. I had to reset my wifi a couple of times. Finally the printer showed up but I was then given errors and had to restart the process a couple times... It eventually connected despite the errors. Then after that I had to go back and forth from the printer, once to press the wifi button, and once again to grab the password from the back of the printer. Other printers I've used have been easily detectable, click and connect. After about an hour of labor, it is finally connected and I am very happy with the ease of use, speed and quality. If you're debating getting this one vs canon or epson, get this one. Canon and epsons have been nothing but trouble for me.

Brother - MFC-J1010DW Wireless Color All-in-One Refresh Subscription Eligible Inkjet Printer - Black Purchase Date: 02/07/2025 I was looking for a printer that was easy to use and set up with wyfi and had a screen that was on the front and big enough to view. Also would not need to be set up with wyfi in between printing jobs. This printer has meet all those requirements.

This is a little printer with BIG value. If you have a home office and need a printer for light printing this unit will do everything you need (print, copy, scan, fax) in a compact footprint without sacrificing quality. If you are doing a lot of printing you may want to look for a more expensiveunit, but for your home office needs this is the perfect machine at the right price.

The Brother printer I bought works quite well. I'm quite pleased with the ease of use and the quality of the machine so far. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, and I haven't used it too often, but so far, it does a great job for the needs I have. And a special shoutout to Tino from Geek Squad for all the help he's given me in February!!!! Thank you so very much!

I wanted a small portable printer that could specifically AirPrint without technical issues, all were sold out but found this from what was available. Didn’t care about all in one or color but that was a plus I guess. My first brother printer and I’m tech savvy but this printer did it’s job. Was super simple to setup and air print worked without a single issue. Was impressed using AirPrint for the first time. I can tell why brother printers are more reliable than all the competitors

Had a old HP all in one printer combo unit that finally bit the dust and got this Brother with a free certificate which I had and it is awesome. Super easy to set up, can print from my phone, scans great and no more over priced HP ink to buy. Love it.

I recently switched from PC to Mac and my old printer wouldn't connect. After some research I decided on the Brother Wireless Inkjet based on customer reviews which is why I'm taking the time to write this. I recommend this printer because connection was easy and works perfectly for my needs.

There are more rugged and complex copiers available HOWEVER for our simple needs of printing via wi-fi or scanning, this is most adequate and simple to use. Why buy features you will never use?

We haven't had the opportunity to use it very much (my computer died), but what we did print came out very well. A big plus is how quiet it is when printing. It's almost unnatural. Great buy.

Very easy to set up. Print is clear and clean and Bold. I jjst hope ink is reasonably priced. This is my second Brother Printer last one I had for over 15 years before needed to get new.
