Brother printers are always best either for personal or office use. I researched a lot and ended up with this model though models from other brands like HP, Canon are cheaper than this. Easy setup, low noise, best online support and high quality prints.

Works well and fast. Replaced my old Brother printer that was well over ten years old and worn out. I hope this lasts as long.

So far so good with this Brother - MFC-J1010DW Wireless Color All-in-One printer. we purchased it after our HP died and it is fast, quiet and prints very well. The setup was relatively easy except for the size of the display. It is tiny and once you have it set up it's no problem but when I was trying to connect it to our router I had a hard time keying in the password. I am an old person with poor eyesight BUT they could have done a little better IMHO. All in all it's a great printer so far. I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic Budget AIO Printer. I’m so glad my 6 year old HP printer died, I hated it with a passion. Constantly would go offline, and drank ink incredibly fast. The Brother MFC-J1010DW seems more solidly built. Both scanning and printing are extremely quiet. I love having individual color ink cartridges, only having to replace the color that’s out. The front loading ink compartment is absolutely fantastic, no more lifting scanner carriage. Setup took about 10 minutes, there was a firmware update, but the DL was quick. I give the printer 5 stars, but the app a 3.75. It works, but missing a critical element found in HP Smart. No file organizer implementation. There is Scan history, but no way to create folders, which means I’ll be creating file organization with iPhone Files app. Just creates more work.
best printer I ever had. prints clearly, and easy to hook up to through any wifi device

Easy to setup and does the job pretty well. Exactly what I needed for my home use

This is an excellent printer at a great price. The only drawback is that the black ink cartridge is often out of stock nationwide for weeks at a time. I run a small business, a printer is essential, I just ran out of black ink and it is nowhere to be found. Otherwise, it's a great printer, just make sure you have extra ink cartridges on hand at all times.

The unit is functional, prints fine and is fairly quiet. Did not set up or plan to use the Fax function. The wireless works well even with using the usb connection with my desktop. The down side, Brother customer support is not very good. Be aware the scan function cannot scan and separate photos. Unlike other scanners that allow one to scan multiple photos at a time and save as individual jpegs, this one will not. After several emails, a failure of their tech support to call at a scheduled two hour window and later after a 40 minute wait and then a 45 minute on phone conversation with their tech support, I was told "Oh, it can only scan one photo at a time." This after clearly stating I wanted to scan multiple photos and save individually. And on top of that if you scan say a 4x6 photo, it saves the whole scanned bed, so you would then have to crop away all the white on whatever software one might have on your pc or laptop to get your picture saved correctly. So if you just need a printer and maybe to scan documents, it's usable, but if you are planning on using it to scan your photos, find a different scanner.

Good replacement...My Canon printer stopped working and the IT support provided ceased so I had to purchase something reliable and this was it. Prints fast and the color looks great.

I'm amazed. My old HP printer finally died and so I replaced it with this Brother printer. I don't print a lot of pages, but I do want quality printing. Its better and faster than my old HP and at price is wonderful. Set was easy and worked perfectly the first time.

The printer is compact, user friendly, copies are clear, printing is easy and great feature is that it has double-sided capabilities. Joining the ink cartridges is a plus.

My HP 6970 inkjet printer of 6 years broke and after doing some research it seems like that’s about the life expectancy of a lower end inkjet printer. Knowing that I’ll need to replace them about every 5-7 years, I wanted to find a cheaper one. I’m about a year into using this Brother printer and it’s done everything I need it to for about half the price of similar HPs. It is a good budget printer.

We don't use a printer very often and so far this has been really nice to have. Pretty easy setup. I love that it can be used over our internet. I have the app for my phone also but haven't had to use it yet. All in all nice printer and price to boot!

Not meant for huge print jobs but, it's compact and fast. It prints out so fast, you wouldn't expect something so compact would be so fast. Good stuff. Setting it up can be a challenge for some. Instructions are not as clear as they should be. Once set up, it's not a bad companion.
