I love this printer. I am using it for school. It is fast, efficient, pretty quiet, and exactly what I needed. My major requires a lot of scanning and printing of 11 x 17 pages (ledger sized) and this printer does the trick! It has two trays for paper so I don't have to change it out when I need a different size. It was super easy to set up and is wireless! The only thing that is inconvenient is its size. But if you have a printer that has all of these capabilities, what would you expect?

Fast Print speed excellent scanning speed haven't used Fax, print copy is excellent comes with individual ink cartridges compared to just 2 cartridges which allows for less ink usage and less expense when getting new cartridges. Creates a pdf file in no time at all have scanned up to 37 pages so far and completed in less than two minutes.

Most printers similar to this cost much more. This printer is just right to print work off and review drawing.

GREAT PRINTER FOR DOCUMENT PRINTING BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR PHOTO PRINTING AT ALL AND THAT IS WHAT I WANTED IT FOR. I HAD TO SEND IT BACK AND WENT WITH AN HP PHOTOSMART PRINTER

Few of my friends has the Brother MFP and they all love it, so when it was time for me to get a printer I got one. I was tired of inkjets and I got the laser. The con of inkjets is if you don't use it enough the print head clogs and it wastes a lot of ink to prime and/or clean. Lasers uses dry ink (toner) so it can sit unused for weeks even months and just works when you do use it, but of course its black and white, color lasers are much more expensive. Was easy to setup, software searches the network for it on the network. LCD is clear and easy to read. Control Panel software on computer end also has a custom tab where you can program custom buttons with what you want scan settings to be. One thing that that did confuse me is when I try to program the fax# and settings from the computer software it ask me for a password, that was the only time I had to look at manual.

Fantastic price for an all-in-one printer. Works brilliantly! Brother printer was recommended by my daughter who has owned one since 2005. Her's is still working and has never needed any repairs. With that type of recommendation, who wouldn't buy a Brother printer? I have been exceptionally pleased with this printer.
