I hadn't seen it in years and after watching it I can't believe how much I had forgotten so it was like watching it for the first time. The story was great following the rumored Beast of Gevaudan in France and great fight scenes and cinematography were incorporated and if you like old folklore type movies this is a must. It's French produced so it never got the publicity in the US it deserved and I really enjoy watching it again after many years of not seeing it. I recommended it to a friend and their whole family loved it.

You get horror, action, adventure, mystery, martial arts, romance, etc! It has it all. Some will find joy in the mashup of tones, others may find it to be messy and unfocused.

Twenty years later, I'm still surprised it works
