A truly original historical horror / adventure with a unique monster twist.

I bought this to replace a DVD I lent out to a friend. The packaging was certainly a nice upgrade and I love the reversible cover insert. My only complaint is that the release is not a 4K release at this price point and that it’s not more accessible as it only includes English subtitles. I wish more releases would include additional features to make the physical purchase vs streaming service worthwhile. I wanted to get this for my brother in law who first got me into this movie several years ago and unfortunately can’t due to the missing Spanish subtitles. Definitely worth the buy if you’ve been wanting a blue ray version but you can buy better versions with additional features on eBay if you’re fine with a DVD. I knew what was included so I won’t deduct for that but at this price point this release is missing several of the additional fractures when compared to recent 4K releases.

this great, early 2000s action/horror/period film is a gem that has to be seen at least once (but really several times!!!) this is just a great, exciting movie! timeless

Wonderful, underrated action film from France. Still one of my favorites, and I am very happy to see a domestic blu-ray release. Delivered without fail from Best Buy.

This is a great movie. It's not well known since I believe it was originally a French film. There is constant action and a well thought out story. It came quickly.

This is the exact copy I was looking for. English audio, which I prefer to captions as I'm not a die hard foreign film buff. Also works fine with my US Bluray/DVD player.

A fantastic creature feature mixed with a period film, Brotherhood of the Wolf is an early 2000's gem. The subtitles on this Scream Factory release has a few typos and grammar errors, but for the most part it doesn't detract from the film.

While it was originally in French, the dub of this movie is great. Great story line and great action. Loved this movie as a teen. Glad they brought it out on bluray

This is a movie that is scary, adventurious, dramatic, and has a little romance. If you can get past the language barrier (or just turn the DUB to English) then you will love it. It has great costume design, a great cast, and the story line is first rate.

European filmmakers have experience (the inquisition and so forth) in depicting issues of corruption, intrigue, church and state, and the insanity of nepotism with much more aplomb than American filmmakers. Nice cinematography and some powerful imagery.
