This keyboard really helps turn my Ipad into a mini laptop. I really like it

OK so this thing is super expensive. I've tired other ipad keyboard cases and never really found something satisfying. I especially thought this thing would prove disappointing on account of the iPad on its grippy hinges does not rotate all the way back behind the keyboard - so you either leave it in clamshell laptop type mode for use and carry or you try to get comfortable pulling it out of the rubberized grippies on each hinge, over and over again each time you want it without the keyboard. So in the end I found that I do not use the keyboard quite as often as I thought i would but when I do it is a dream to use; it's lasted weeks and weeks now with no need to recharge; the backlighting of keys is fantastic for night use and the 3 levels of brightness is a nice touch. It literally looks and feels like a tiny macbook when I hinge the ipad up at the typical laptop clamshell angle with the keyboard on the surface and there it is - if in e-mail or light typing in a document - it's just unbelievably cool; it will rotate so that the keyboard and the ipad stand one over hte other - on a level plane - so that the ipad literally by the hinges stands on top of the keyboard which can then rest on your stomach when in bed and it elevates the ipad to perfect viewing position in front of your eyes to watch media without having to hold it up - oddly enough it's a perfect kind of "fit" for lie-down-and-consume-media use, in that configuration. I have iPad like 5th gen (?) thought it was ipad 2 but evidently not - so it was a very tight fit in the hinges and I wasn't comfortable doing what they gave extra grippies for - literally peeling off the built-on grippies and pasting the thinner ones (for the slightly thicker ipad) - so - maybe foolishly I just gently kept pressing and got the ipad totally int he hinges - incredibly tight fit so I'm reluctant to take it out - but boy is it a perfect grip attachment and I basically leave it this way all the time. Overall feels like it's an apple product - solid, heavy thick metal keyboard, unbendable solid construction - really, really nice.

I bought this one for my wife because she had purchased one for me in the past and I really enjoy it. It fits great, its always on when you need it...there is just nothing negative to say about this keyboard. I would recommend it to anyone with an ipad!

Picked this up on sale for use with new 2018 iPad. Works perfectly, and is very well made of sturdy, high quality materials. It is a joy to type with, and the function keys for most iPad operations are great. Highly recommended.

I had tried the Apple keyboard for my iPad Pro 9.7 then the Logitech keyboard. Both were OK but the Appple didn't have a lighted keyboard like the Logitech but the Logitech had a problem in that to remove the iPad Pro I had to pull it out of its case and then reinstall it. It did; however, have a lighted keyboard. Both were connected to the iPad via the 3 connectors. The Brydgeair was the answer. I can remove the iPad easily, has a lighted keyboard and almost makes the iPad Pro like an MacBook Air!! The keys are tactile with the keyboard base being all metal, it is nice a stiff. I can pick up the whole unit by just picking up a corner. I can't recommend this keyboard enough.

I tried 6 other keyboards... this one is the best. The keys are fantastic, quick typing. Long battery life.

This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for to use with my Ipad Air. Easy to connect, long battery life and also serves as protection for my Ipad.

I have purchased quite a few keyboards for tablets and by far this has been the best one. It is very durable, battery lasts a very long time, and very easy to sync and use.

Really loved it- waiting for replacement as a U key was sticking. Wish it was lighter, but overall easy to use, makes my iPad a laptop. Was very pleased with it.

Easy to use and set up. Keys are responsive, back-lit and the best part, your iPad/keyboard combo look like a small laptop. The only downfall is no cover for your IPad of the keyboard itself. I contacted the company and they are working on covers for iPad Pro clear covers but they do make them for previous versions. If you like stronger protection, consider Otterbox; this is best kept in an iPad sleeve to protect both the tablet and keyboard while in storage and transportation. The audio isn't that loud, however, more sound comes out of the tablet.

I bought this as a Christmas for my husband to replace an older after market keyboard case for his iPad Air. Pros: The iPad stays securely attached so far. He likes the feel of the lighted keyboard. He likes the Tab key and the top row function keys. Cons: The metal exterior is slippery compared to the previous vinyl case; the case can be difficult to open; the Facebook icon buttons at the bottom of the screen are partially covered by the edge of the keyboard.

Works well for my purpose. Keys have good feel and like how it makes my IPad function like a small laptop. Also- unlike other Bluetooth keyboards made by other companies, this one is sturdy, opens and closes easily, and alllows for quick and easy removal of the device when I want to use it in tablet mode. Only complaint is that it takes a few seconds to re-connect after waking from sleep mode as well as the settings for the backlit keys default to the lowest setting once the device re-awakens.

I used Logitech keyboards for many years with my iPads. However, when one was no longer available, I tried the Brydge model, and was extremely surprised. This keyboard is amazing! Not only are the keys comfortable, but they also light up, and have handy volume controls right on the keyboard. The hard metal case matches my iPad perfectly, and it provides extreme security for my screen. I love it!

First it is super stylish and matches my ipad perfectly. I love the extra speakers on it and how easy and seeamless it works.

I like the extended battery life of the keyboard and aluminum construction. My iPad air fits perfectly.

Let me preface this by saying this might be the best keyboard as far as typing goes that I've ever used. It comes as close to a MacBook as any keyboard out there. With that being said, I returned it. I would've kept it had it had some sort of cover for my iPad. Brydge makes a clear hard shell cover for the Air and Air 2 but not for the Pro. Great keyboard if you're not concerned with a cover.

I purchased the case to both protect the iPad as well as provide an easy way to entering information. Sometimes it is nice to be able to see the screen instead of having my fingers all over it. The case was easy to connect, the charge lasts a long time. Only downside is the charging cord is different than the iPad. Therefore I have to carry two chargers and cords.
