    I have used the Buffalo switches to replace some Cisco Small Business switches and these have worked much better than the Cisco. I have used this switch and one other in the line and both have worked great. I have used the SFP ports for linking one to another over 5-700 feet of fiber and have not had an issue of any type yet with that. I am using the POE for IP cameras with great success. My only wish is that the "Green Ethernet" feature was disabled by default as that messes with some cameras it seems, causes little flickers of dropped frames that go away once it is disabled. I have to go in and disable it in software, but after that one minor tweak they are rock solid. I have used a ton of switches and these are treating me pretty good so I'm sticking with them for now anyway!
