My wife and I went to see this in the theater, we were VERY disappointed!!! If anyone pays any attention to my reviews, you know that I'm a huge movie collector and always try to give the best, most informative, and credible review possible. And honestly, it takes a lot for movie buffs like my wife and I to completely despise a movie, (namely, The Invisible.) Now you understand where I'm coming from. This movie,'Bug', has no plot, no point, and is personally a waste of time. In fact, I'm going to spoil it for you, and I NEVER do this! The entire movie is about a couple of people that think they are covered in bugs. This is the film in a nut shell! The best part is that, they never tell you if they're covered in bugs or if it's just in thier heads. It just ends! You never see any bugs! Waste of time, waste of money, and a waste of the millions of dollars they paid these great actors to do absolutely NOTHING!!! My wife and I actually felt dumber after watching it! Save your brain cells and watch something else!

This is Ashley Judd's first movie in 2 years so I had high hopes for this movie. What a letdown. The movie is boring and confusing , and just never makes any sense whatsoever. Ashley Judd does do a very good acting job in the film but the script and story are just bad. This movie was based on a play and this may have been a decent play but it makes for a really bad movie. Skip this movie for a rental or a purchase.

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen! I thought it would be good, BOY was I WRONG!! It is really slow and it is just a stupid movie....no plot....HORRIBLE!! It was confusing and LONG! I almost would think twice about watching another movie with Ashley Judd in because of this, she is such a good actress and this movie did her NO justice! Not to mention it was just plain WEIRD!

I did not like this movie at all. I think it was unorginal. The people who put this movie together make me wonder 'how on earth did they get money to make this movie!' It could have been put together a lot better. I do believe this is the worst movie I have ever seen Ashley Judd play in. "traumatized human psyche" it sure did traumatize me into thinking how crazy was I to watch it.

I have never hated an Ashley Judd movie until now. I want to write her a letter ask her to pay me back for this horrible movie. If you get this movie, make sure it is for someone you either hate or don't like. Don't buy it for yourself or a friend, friends don't buy friends a horrible movie like this!

This is a low budget movie. Thought it would be a good movie since Ashley Judd was in it but turned out to be horrible. The movie was mostly done in a hotel room and made no sense what so ever, started out boring and got worse. I would never rent or buy this movie, renting it was bad enough.

movie was very poor!!!!!! You can hardly understand whats going on the whole movie!!!!! And If u were paying attention you were so bored you just didnt care!!!!!if they were giving this movie away when you walked into bestbuy...............pass it up and say NO WAY!!!!!!!!!SUX

***/**** This film by William Friedkin will make you shake your head at the end which is what he wants. Friedkin wants us to question the way we react to various things and why react the way we react to them sometimes resulting in violence. A film dipticing our way of life ought to be intense and dismal.It is a study of profound paranoia in a guilt ridden world albeit fabricated one. The three lead performances are also great. Especially Michael Shannon who converts Ashley Judd to his strange dictums.A good film.

Both Ashley and Michael give stunning and believable performances in this creative psychological thriller. People with open minds will certainly appreciate this film. It is a little slow but it works toward a terrifying, dramatic and totally crazy climax. Which is totally awesome and really scary, because it could really happen to someone. I love this movie and went to the theatre 3 times to see it. I would totally recommend this movie to anyone who wants to stay on the edge of their seat guessing, and become totally mystified by the human mind and how fragile some of them really are.
