Bullitt [Blu-ray] [1968] Great movie! Greatest chase scene!

This Blue Ray DVD certainly gave me more than I expected with all of the additional Special Features. "Bullitt" is classic Steve McQueen, but the commentary from the director, and the documentary on McQueen and his life in front of and behind the screen was riveting. Add to that a very detailed insight on movie editing, and you have the thrill I got when I watched them. I had already owned "Bullitt", but with all of the new Special Features, I had to see what they were. I was not disappointed. It doesn't get much cooler than McQueen - except this "Bullitt" Blue Ray has a lot of those special features you won't find anywhere else!

What can I say, Steve McQueen, THE BULLITT MUSTANG and undeniably THE BEST CAR CHASE SCENE EVER FILMED. The car chase scene taking place in the hilly streets of San Francisco. One of the best cop shows ever made with the infamous Steve McQueen and one of the most iconic film cars of all time. Must have classic film that like Cool Hand Luke, the Dirty Harry films and and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, still hold their own to this day.

McQueen was “Cool” then and he’s still “cool” today. After 40 + years this Dog still has hair on his back and he can still run. Jacqueline Bisset remains a fond memory. The first 30 to 40 minutes of the show set the stage for bigger things to come. Then there’s that fifteen minute car-chase that’s bigger than life itself that every movie since then knew what the “car chase standard” was. This is a pleasant show to reflect on – life seemed better and simpler then and our toys were unfussy which is reflected in this “thriller” of the late 1960’s – this McQueen movie will remain a “solid” viewing experience well into the future..

Hadn't seen it before but heard about it a lot. Good action movie.

Bullitt is a classic and a must own Blu-ray for any action movie fan.

This is for that car nut in the family, it's for that young child you want to mold into a car fan, it's that movie that you have to make others watch to make them understand why this movie has grown stronger throughout the years. This is that one iconic movie that you will sit on the edge of your seat cringing your body and yelling at the movie especially with the most amazing car scene ever made... don't be left in the dark anymore buy this movie now!

An oldie but still an exciting police detective story with lots of fast moving scenes including a memorable car chase that would never be possible in today's world. Great action with lots of thrills with great stars like Steve McQueen, Robert Duvall and Robert Vaughn. Don't forget the popcorn. Enjoy!

This is perhaps McQueen's best performance in a movie.

This is a must movie for the discriminating moviegoer and watcher. This was a gritty and "true-to-life" film when it first hit theaters decades ago and it remains one of the best films of its genre today. The car chase scene is a true classic and it shows Steve McQueen at his best behind the wheel of a Shelby Mustang. McQeen did all of his own driving and my adrenaline still rushes every time I watch it.

This is a classic and this cheaper than renting the movie on an online streaming service. You get documentary about bullit's making too. Like if you just a little interested in this film just buy the bluray and get better quality and save yourself some money.

Bullitt is one of my top action movies ever. Both the car chase scene and the airport scene are my favorites and I never get tired of watching them! This movie is timeless! Of course the fact that it is set in the late sixties gives it an even cooler factor. This is a MUST add to any Blu - Ray library! Don't pass this movie up!

Bullitt is one of those movies that you watch, and it doesn't quite hit you until a second or third viewing that it is full of character depth and development. The acting is wonderful, the dialog and action realistic and the iconic car chase scene/stalking is something any classic movie lover should view at least once. A personal favorite.

Steve McQueen at one of his best!!! Old scenes from the San Francisco cityscape frozen in time. I remember so many of the locations and shots from there, Great screen play and shot selections are included.
