I was really on the fence when it came to this movie but after watching it you are given a ride on a roller coaster of emotion. There are fight scenes that look true to the original cartoon and great family moments. However if you are comparing this to the Bay films it really does not help because it is in a league of its own. Hopefully they continue with making Bumblebees character for other films.

Who ever thought a transformer movie could be great .This one does the job. And Mr. Bay didn't direct it , thank God ! This film has a lot of heart ,humor action ,worth the price. A movie you could watch over and over. Bumble Bee is the new Minions .You can't help but like Bumble Bee ,kids surely will. The 4k video is great , and audio Dolby Atmos track will work your speakers .Fun movie , get it.

This is a review of thw steelbook packaging only, not the movie (which I loved, for what that's worth). The steelbook is overall beautifully done. The exterior artwork really pops, giving this great shelf appeal. My only issue is with the interior image placement. The image is a beautiful shot from the movie, it's just very unfortunate that because of the way it's framed, it couldn't have been flipped so the characters didn't get covered up by the discs. Otherwise, this would be a great addition to any steelbook collection.

Growing up I was a huge Transformers fan. The characters, the worlds, the stories were just fascinating. Unfortunately the live action movies felt a need to change almost everything that made those characters great. Thankfully, "Bumblebee" perfectly captures the look and the feel of the original Transformers. A great movie that is fun and looks absolutely stunning in 4K UHD.

I think that "Bumblebee" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I immediately enjoyed it. I also think that "Bumblebee" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and amazing personal storyline as well.

Bumblebee is a true hommage to the original 80s cartoon and comics more so than the Michael Bay live action movies. Story ties in nicely and there are many cameos of the 80s Transformer characters. With that said, only big fans would appreciate the 4k version enough to purchase over Blu-ray or DVD. Picture and sound are suberb but as a movie, you're not exactly experiencing superb story telling. A must have for the Transformer aficionado but you're better off waiting for a price drop if you're not.

I'm not a fan of the Transformer movies, so I wasn't planning on seeing this movie. I read a lot of bad reviews online from hard-core Transformer fans who dismissed this movie as not being worthy of the Transformer franchise. Hearing that actually steered me toward the movie. So I bought the 4K edition and went home and spent a Tuesday evening relaxing and enjoying the movie. No, it's not a perfect movie, but I liked it. I'm glad I bought it, and it makes a great addition to my movie collection.

We purchase this 4K movie to add to our list of 4K movies, and since we have the entire Transformers series, it was a nice addition to our collection. The movie itself is probably the best of the series, and given the fact that Haley Steinfeld is in it does not take away from the storyline. She is an awesome actress and adds to the more down-to-earth side Bumblebee.

I really enjoyed the movie. It still has a lot of human element to it though, and just wish it had more of them being on Cybertron. I actually think the first 3 1/2 minutes is the best out of all the Transformers movies, since you got to see the Generation 1 look of most of them just like the original cartoon series. I just hope they carry that on into the next film, because it was so awesome to see Optimus Prime's original look. If you are a Transformers fan, you will really enjoy this movie.

This movie had a great story and very well done. Could have been better but not bad at all. I really like what they do when they make use of the downtime here. I never felt bored even when there was no action going on and when the action did happen it was awesome. Dolby Atmos sound track was very good and Dolby Vision was just as good. Very pleased.

Was happy that I was able to snag this 4K Steelbook. The movie was a welcome change to franchise and is a return to form the Transformers universe, the story was fun, performances were strong, with some action sprinkled in throughout the film. The packaging looks great, and the yellow really pops and stands out on my shelf, overall very pleased with this.

Michael Bay brought Transformers back to mainstream public eye with his movies but it took quite a few liberties.. Bumblebee goes back to Generation 1 and introduces Robots in Disguise we haven't seen before and wanted. Oddly interesting how there are classic triple changer Decepticons in this Gen 1 movie but nowhere in the original films!

Transformers has long had this cloud over it (Bay) and in the right hands they've worked magic. A little bit girl power, a whole lot of heart that finally hits the groove of (hopefully) great Transformer movies to come. If you've been stung in the past by horrible acting and terrible scripts with these, give this one a try; you won't regret it!

Bumblebee is produced by Steven Spielberg, but it doesn't feel like a 2018 Steven Spielberg-produced movie, it feels like a 1987 Steven Spielberg-produced movie. That is to say this Travis Knight picture is undoubtedly influenced by the young ensemble adventures of Spielberg's early days and is nothing short of a welcome change of pace for a franchise that, let's be honest, had long since passed its breaking point and was desperate for some change in direction.

It was good, nothing spectacular but it was entertaining and more of a rehash of the first transformers movie that was toned down. Acting could have been better and a little more continuity would have helped but I did like the music and the 80's references since I was a child of the 80's. My daughter loved it, so I'm happy. The digital movie only lets you add to VUDU and fandango now, which unfortunately did not show up in my movies anywhere or Amazon prime.

This entry in the Transformers series is more modest in scope than it’s Michael Bay directed predecessors and all the better for it. It’s much more Spielbergian, playing exactly like something Spielberg would have done in the 80s. The movie is set in the 80s which really drives this aspect home. The Transformers themselves look stunning in 4K with a level of detail and color brilliance that outdoes even the Blu-ray. Good movie and a very good 4K disc.
