Used to pay for online orders on web site and the app. Can be used to reload an existing gift card balance saved to a Burger King account. However, if the gift card balance is unable to cover the entire cost of the bill, you will be forced to reload the gift card with a secondary payment method rather just pay the difference, and the minimum reload amount is $5.00 This makes it nearly impossible to spend the entire balance of a gift card saved to your Burger King account.

funnily enough, i sent this as a gift and my recipient was able to use it just fine. but i got an email saying she hadn't used it yet so i also redeemed it. we both had balances of $10 on the app. i thought we had gotten two gift cards in one but we actually just shared balances. so when i used it, hers also went down. silly of me to think, i know

The biggest hassle with the eGift Card used to be having the cashier manually entering the number when paying. I guess I could have added the balance to an existing physical card so it could be swiped. But now, gift cards can be added to the BK app as a payment method. Subtracting 1 star due the slow delivery from BB. What is the point of getting electronic delivery if it is not near instantaneous?

You have to add to the app order through the app to use the digital BK gift. That’s a downside, unless you already order through the app.
