My favorite cohen brothers movie, just so funny from start to finish

If you are a Brad Pitt connoisseur, then this is your movie. "...Schwinn..."

i get a big kick out of reading the naysayers' reviews for this film (especially the reviews above mine), saying stuff like: "what was the point of that?", "i didn;t get it". The point is there is no point! it's funny watching all these people expecting a brainless comedy because god forbid they have to think a little. that's what you can expect from the coens. And if any human being is out there with a taste for good movies, they'll probably like this. Expecially if they are a coen fan, namely liking films like fargo or the big lebowski. It's the typical coen fromula of crime gone wrong with insane results. It may not be a "laugh out loud" movie but it is a very very very dark comedy, much like most of the coen's works. I do agree it was misadvertised, but in a good way. It's not their best, but it is up there. This is coming from a thourough film fan and a general coen brother fan. Point being, if you haven't seen this but loved most of the coen brother films like: fargo, big lebowski, blood simple, the ladykillers, or even old country for no men, chances are you will at least enjoy this film and i think it is certainly worth at least one viewing.

This movie is severely underrated. It's about a bunch of characters with varying levels of morality who come into conflict over something small and, through misunderstandings and mishaps, things end up getting out of control. There's not a "point" to this movie other than entertainment. It's very funny and has some twists and turns along the way. If that doesn't appeal to you, so be it, but it's genuinely a really good movie with great performances.

The movie was filled with a hilarious cast. There was a disappointing twist, but it tied the movie together perfectly and I laughed my tail off.

Don't let these other reviews fool you. If you go into the movie not knowing what the Coen brothers do and their movie genre then you might be surprised at what you get. But the dark comedies are hilarious. Really top-notch.

Too bad you can't give "0" stars. Not only was the language terrible, the plot was non-sense. It wasn't a comedy, although it tried to be funny. Incoherint story lines with very odd characters. This is the worst movie I've watched in years.

Advertised as a very funny, entertaining movie. My husband and I both thought it was a total waste of our money. It was not funny and definitely not enteraining. We both struggled to watch the whole movie. My advice, don't waste your money on it.

Stupid movie....only the commercials were good....total waste of money to go see it at the theater. I wouldn't even give it 1 star if there were less to choose....this deserves more like a -10 (thats minus 10).

I thought this was 2 hours of my life that I totally wasted not to mention the $20 I paid for it. The previews made it seem funny and witty but is quite the contrary. Dont waste your money or time.

i dont know what to say here but the movie was boring not that funny they did a good job in the preview thats all just watch that and thats it thas the only funny seens in the movie

This Movie was really good I enjoyed watching this.
