    This is my first smart light and I am impressed. Will buy more for sure. Setup was very easy with my existing Google home mini and took less then 5 minutes.

    I've had these bulbs and Phillips hue smart bulbs to compare to. These smart bulbs connect directly to your WiFi (instead of requiring a bridge device) which makes it about half a second faster to control via Google Assistant. The only issue I've had is that sometimes a Google Assistant command will not go through for all bulbs when made. I have three of these in a ceiling fan and have them scheduled to change dimming level and color when it's bedtime and when it's time to get up. When changing the color, it usually takes two of the same commands to get them all to be the same. Not sure what the issue could be, but it's a minor inconvenience.

    Cheaper Alternative for HomeKit

    I bought these for use with Apple HomeKit, so I had to buy the Bridge elsewhere since Best Buy doesn't carry them. I have found I sometimes have to unplug and plug the bridge back in as it doesn't always reconnect to the wifi after my wifi switch resets every night. When this happens I cant even control the lights from GE app which can be annoying. Also, sometimes the lights that are paired together will be on different settings which doesn't really make sense to me but oh well, overall they work fine and still cheaper than the alternative.

    Really like the dimming feature, only complaint is the setup process and when they get disconnected, they can be difficult to connect.

    My home is a complete smart home and these bulbs were a perfect addition. Very easy to set up with Google Home. I currently have 6GE bulbs and they all work perfectly. I used these bulbs in the baby room due to the different colored light settings. I use the candlelight setting as a night light and the cool white during the day.

    This is ideal for a google mini/nest homes with no smart home hub, as you can pair devices to google home directly via bluetooth and it will make a bluetooth mesh, as long as you place all devices within 40 ft of each other. For alexa integration, it will require addons, such as a c-reach, but ideally a plug or a smart switch, as they have built in hubs that enable comms via wifi to alexa assistant. Also, for the first case, you either setup in google home or the c by ge app, but not both, as one will not port over to the other. Configuration in the c by ge app can work, but the interface is somewhat unintuitive, so recommend quick setup via google home instead. Also, if you run into snags with any of the setup methods, the c by ge tech support is great at walking you through questions/issues that may arise. I've read prior gen reviews and theyre pretty bad, but seems like this gen is much improved, give it a try, they have great options and at a reasonable price.

    Thanks to Instagram style influencer @tiffanymbattle, I learned about these dynamic light bulbs. The ability to adjust the light settings and sync with Google Home makes all the difference in the world when you always have a million things to do. The convenience makes a big difference for me. Highly recommend!

    They are way to easy to sincronice with your app, or in my case I am using them with Google Home mini and its awesome. To turn on/off your home lights from anywere you are is absolutly worth something. The only negative thing I had is that had to exchange a buld, guess got misshanled in delevary shipping, and had to return the complete package and had to start all over again and deleting everything to place the new bulbs on the app but since I new how to do it, was a breeze.

    These bulbs are pretty cool and were my start to smart lighting. While I really enjoy the dimming feature, app integration, and the choice of lighting hues; the setup is slightly involved and should you need to reset the bulbs that process is a bit cumbersome. They tend to drop out of sync.. I've probably had to reset them about 10 times.

    A cheaper alternative to the Phillips Hue. If you just want a simple smart bulb, this is for you! I love the different colors of this one too for throughout the daytime. Highly recommend and super easy setup through the Google Home app.

    Lights are easy to set up but no one tells you that you need a control unit sold separately. The C Reach is another 30 dollars and then you can control through your Smart assistant. If you run a VPN on your cell, turn it off or you will never get the C Reach to connect. Tech support at GE was no help and they grasped at straws.

    A great choice for anyone deciding to begin updating there home into a “smart home”. These have done wonders for my wife in helping her adjust the quality of light in both her office space and living room (dependent on where she’s working) especially so since she seems to be very light sensitive and tends to work later in the day so a very optimal choice for non-early birds who continue or start to work towards the evening/night time. NOTE: Word of advice, we did at first receive a defective bulb in the pair that we bought simply swapping them out to a new pair fixed the issue so your mileage may vary and extensively trying them out (i.e. connecting them to a home network, setting a schedule, and trying different commands at different times of the day) may help pinpoint any issues/defects.

    I have these bulbs in my living room and I love int integration with google home. I have it on schedule as well as have the ability to turn on and off on demand. Being dimmable is a plus. highly recommended.

    I initially tried both bulbs to make sure they were working, but decided to save one till I bought a desk lamp. Two weeks later, I tried to connect the second bulb to my google home and it just isnt working. It's kinda aggravating. The bulbs function pretty well though. There's not much lag between instructing the google assistant and the bulb being turned on or off.

    This brand is affordable, works great & pairs easily with google assistant devices. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars is the fact that whenever I set up an automation, all of my lights will work fine except one random light. One random light won't turn off or on & I would have to use google to turn them on or off.

    Great price and easy to pair with Google Home. No hub or bridge required. 1/4 the cost of Hue and just as functional, without the multi-color option and no hub required.

    These lights worked as advertised and were so much easier to setup versus the Phillips Hue lights and bridge. I had nothing but problems with the Hue bridge and its expensive lights.

    Easy to use overall bright lights if you dont need color. Currently use with the google assist. Only issue I ran into is that it turned of one light bulb on command and left the other one on. Fixed it by switching the light manually off and on but happen a few times. Not often to be a pain.
