Connects easily. The low dim setting (1%) is too bright for what I'd hope. Other bulbs I've purchased allow for a lower dim setting

Great Bluetooth connected bulbs. Work great with google.

Pros: 3 color temperature settings, simple interface, great smart light budget choice Cons: not so great smart option for integrating with Google Home, limited bluetooth mesh range, setting up timers (automation) is not very intuitive. I have several Google Home speakers throughout my home and have been using smart outlets to turn my lamps on and off and have had my eye on the Philips Hue lighting products since they were released several years ago, but have held off on getting any because they are so expensive. I was hoping prices would come down, but instead they’ve remained mostly the same. I told myself that if I were to get into smart bulbs, they need to do more than just turn on and off. I would want at least different white color temperatures. The C-Sleep bulbs fit the bill and I would get two for less than the Hue offerings. Note, unless you’re getting a Wi-Fi bulb, you will need to buy a bridge if you want to control your smart lights by voice. The C-Sleep bulbs are no different. I have a Google Home Mini in my bedroom and this is where I installed my two bulbs, in my nightstand lamps. Setup was relatively easy using the C by GE app. Before I added the devices to my Google Home account, I wanted to see how the native app performed. It gets the job done and changing settings are very straightforward. The online help isn’t very helpful in getting timers set up, which is what I tried to set up. One setting is for morning with bright white to turn on before I wake up and then turn off after an hour. The other setting is for night with warm white to turn on at bedtime and turn off by midnight. The on screen prompts are vague and don’t tell you if the automation entry is going to turn the light on or off. Integrating with Google Home isn’t that great. There are no controls other than on/off and brightness that can be made within the Google Home app. Changing color temperatures has to be done by voice. It would be the same for automation I’m guessing, but I didn’t even attempt it. What makes things worse is that you have to choose between either the native C by GE app where you gain more granular control through the screen or use the Google Home app where you gain voice control, but lose granular control. There is an exception, the native C by GE app has 3 fixed color temperatures 2000K, 3700K, and 7000K (approximate). With Google Home/Assistant, you can specify the color temperature, but you have to do so through voice. Range - without a bridge, range is very limited using the built-in bluetooth (mesh). My phone struggles to get a connection outside of my bedroom. Range with my Google Home Mini used as a bridge over WiFi is great, but on screen controls and functionality are both gimped in comparison to the native app. So who is this smart bulb for? If you want basic automation and the ability to turn lights on/off with your phone while in the same room or looking for an introduction to smart light bulbs, the C-Sleep bulbs are great for that. If you want deeper integration with your smart home with Alexa or Google Home while maintaining the same access to on screen control, I say look elsewhere.

So I got these for my boyfriend he says they work great, getting more.

They are alright products if you want them to work through there app. They need to stop falsely advertising these work with google home cause the DONT! They do for maybe about a week and then they are unresponsive! If you look at different articles on googles page, you’ll see people constantly saying how much you have to restart them. NOT WORTH THE TIME. But that’s just my opinion
