Great bluetooth bulbs

Once connected they work great. The switch to my lamps hung down behind the night stand, so having these bulbs make it so much easier.

Wouldn't Stay Connected

When I used the app or voice control they would actually respond about 60% of the time. Other times I'd have to get up and physically turn of the light switch, defeating the purpose of a smart bulb. I tried factory resetting, trouble shooting, and even a new pack of bulbs. I'd like to think that I got a defective batch or did something wrong on my end, but they unfortunately just didn't work well for me and I ended up returning them.

Posted .Hi there! We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing these issues. Due to Google Home's recent Nest integration we have been seeing quite a few of our "Made for Google" users who have been experiencing these same issues. In most cases, the bulbs either lost power, or were turned off at the light switch and their Google Home device failed to re-establish the Bluetooth connection. Most of the users have found success in simply power cycling the Google Home device (unplugging it and plugging it back in again), or rebooting it from the Google Home app. Please note: This must be done before you try unlinking the bulbs from the app or try factory resetting the bulbs. As far as the bulbs not being discovered by the C by GE app, since they are Bluetooth-enabled bulbs, they can only be paired to one app at a time. Smart Lights with Google Home integration

I have my living room lights and bedroom lights set up with these. You can start routines (like Morning Wake Up) that makes the lights turn on or off at specific times. The problem I had with these is that you cannot set the lighting transitions from bright to calm like they say in the description if you are using voice control through Google Home (and probably Alexa too). You can only use the bright to calm feature while using the GE specific app. You can not use both apps with these lights. You have to choose which app to use and both have different features.

Better than expected.

You can change the color and dim or brighten. Only trouble they gave me was when the power went out and all the google smart was offline.

You just screw in the lamp, open the app, click the plus button, and it does the rest. You can control the lamp with your voice or through your app. Simple as that.

If individual bulbs fail to turn on/off via voice command, this typically means that there is an issue with the device or app that you are using to control them, since that is what actually turns them on/off. If you are using Google Assistant, to control your lights, try rebooting your Google Home device, or contact Google Home Support to see if they may have any recommendations. p#

Great Alternative to Hue

The only thing that could be better is the sengled app. It limits you to 8 rooms and only timers can be set per room.

Cheap alternate to Philips Hue

Only drawback it will not showup in my Alexa App or as a light in my Wink hub. But it is ok for the price i paid. i bought it when it was on bogo sale

Good, Not the Brightest

Easy to Use Smart Light Bulb

I have two dogs at home so its nice to be able to turn my lights on from my phone before I get home and then before I go to bed I tell my google assistant to turn out all my lights and its done, no going from lamp to lamp to turn them off. They were easy to set up and easy to use.

Warning! You need a C by GE Wi-Fi device.

Unortunately, when attempting to add the bulbs to Google Home using the C by GE App, I receive a message saying a C by GE Wi-Fi device is needed for voice control. When I attempt to use Google home to add the bulbs I receive a message saying my C by GE account has been added but the account is not visible and the bulbs don't show up in the app. Please fix this problem.

EASY TO USE; WRONG PACKAGING??

I should tell you do not be alarmed, for some reason my packaging is very different from the picture that shows the "tunable white smart bulbs" on the website, however, once I opened the package, its exactly the same lightbulbs. I think my package I picked up said something about "sleep bulbs" which is not what I bought, so I opened the box out of curiosity, and turned out to be exactly the same lightbulbs from the picture on the website. So something tells me the packaging may be wrong coming from the manufacturer's side, but don't know if that's the result everybody would get, so I'd double make sure the bulbs from inside the box are the correct ones before you go back to the store. NOW FUNCTION OF BULBS: they work wonderfully and easy to pair with my google home mini. Now they are NOT perfect, for some strange reason they synced out on day 2 that I had installed them and to this day I don't know why that happened, that was frustrating because the bulbs just wouldn't detect, so I did a factory reset to the bulbs, and that part was super easy. Once they reset, connected them again using google home, and they synced once more easily. So if you don't mind small hiccups, then buy these, legit they work. I do remind, its not perfect technology so if they go out of sync, just reset.
