Bought these for my Granddaughter so she didn't have to come into a dark house. She is happy with them. Four stars cause on small inconvenience - once bulb is set up, you have to leave the power source on. If you forget and shut off the power to the bulb, it drops the link to her router and she has to set up again. Matter of her "retraining" herself I guess.

They keep disconnecting on their own & they often become unresponsive. Honestly going to switch brand of bulbs but these were fine I suppose. Not worth the headache
Also the reset on these is insane: keep off for 5 seconds, turn on for 8, turn off for 2, turn on for 2, etc.

Hi Drew! All C by GE bulbs are simply Bluetooth-enabled bulbs. They essentially have two modes: 1. "Connected" in which they are "listening' for a command from the device that controls them, or 2. In "Pairing Mode" in which they are emitting a signal for the controller device to find them and establish the Bluetooth connection. Other than these two modes, the bulbs do not perform any other functions. Instead the controller device tells them what to do. If your bulbs are unresponsive, this means the controller device most likely dropped the connection to them. If you are using Google Home, this device would be your Google Home device. You should be able to simply reboot your Google Home device to force it to re-establish the connection to your bulbs. Please note: Resetting your bulbs or unlinking them from the app first will sever the connection making it impossible for your Google Home device to re-establish it's connection to them causing you twice the headache since you will most likely then need to set up the bulbs again in the app. As for the reset process, it is simply: On for 8 seconds, then off for 2 seconds (repeat 5x). These GE bulbs connected seamlessly to my Google Home hub. I can set them to turn on or off with voice command or at a certain time. Bulbs go from bright white to soft cream yellow. A great product!

This is a quick and easy. Don’t have to buy anything extra. Good for the first time user the only problem is Google has issues with software so has glitches from time to time it has been an issue with Google since 2018 maybe one day I’ll get fixed. But you could still use the C by GE app and it works good.

I got these light to replace some Sengled light that had gone bad. So far I only have one complaint, I wish that 1% wasn't so bright. I tend to get really bad headaches and the light really hurts my eyes but I of course still need to be able to see to get to my meds and things like that. Other than that I really do loves these lights.
